ALL OF THE TROPHIES ARE INCLUDED IN THE SALE. 1ST PLACE HUNTINGTON BEACH CONCOURS DE ELEGANCE, 1ST PLACE STEVE MCQUEEN BOYS REPUBLIC SHOW, 1ST PLACE SEAL BEACH VINTAGE MOTORCYCLE SHOW, 1ST PLACE EL CAMINO SWAP AND SHOW , ETC. ETC. ETC. THIS BIKE HAS 0 MILES. SERIOUSLY. IT HAS ONLY BEEN SAT ON HALF A DOZEN TIMES. NO EXPENSE WAS SPARED IN ITS RESTORATION. IF IT COULD BE POWDER COATED, PAINTED, CHROMED, PLATED, REPLACED, ....IT WAS. THE BIKE HAS MANY EXTRAS THAT COULD HAVE BEEN PURCHASED AT THE DEALER WHEN IT WAS NEW. Yamaha U.S. Increasing Club Level Road Racing Contingency
Fri, 21 Feb 2014The state of road racing in America is hurting, there’s no doubt about that. But at least Yamaha is stepping up to the plate and increasing its contingency program for club level road racers 50% over last year. According to Yamaha, the program is designed to encompass a broad spectrum of road racing series across the U.S., from numerous club-level and regional sprint series events to the AMA Pro Road Racing series, including the addition of the ASRA Team Challenge Endurance Series.
Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?
Thu, 05 May 2011Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.
Not the most sensible of commuters..
Wed, 04 Apr 2012This is the white and gold 2012 Yamaha R1. It's also the bike I shall be commuting on for the next 8 months. The crouched riding position and murderous amounts of power may not be ideally suited for the London grind, but with plenty of track action planned I have to make some compromises. There are three fresh colours to choose from.
