Yamaha Other description

I have a 2009 Yamaha R6 delta box edition with 3,200 mile. Runs excellent with zero issues. All stock except for rear fender eliminator kit and flush mount signals. There is 1 scratch on the left side rear fairing near the passenger seat, very small. Both front and rear tires are still in good shape as well.I don't mind keeping the bike but I would like to get a newer vehicle. Either a truck or car, something with semi low mileage and newer year range (04+) so I am open to trades. There is a slavage title unfortunately. I bought the bike how you see it now, starts right up, rides smooth all the way up to high speeds, handles like it should, and the fairings are all clean! The clutch lever is slightly bent and there is a chip in that 1 spot explained above. It is a clean bike!I am asking $7200 O.B.O so please dont hesitate with any fair offers. Recall for 2011 Yamaha FJR1300

Mon, 11 Jul 2011

Yamaha is initiating a recall campaign the 2011 FJR1300, just a week after a separate recall for the 2006-2009 versions of the sport touring motorcycle. Like the earlier campaign, the recall for the 2011 Yamaha FJR1300 is for an electrical issue,  this time for the brake lights. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, brake light on affected units may not illuminate when the front brake lever is applied because the activating mechanism in the brake switch can bind.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.

Valentino Rossi Test Drives Kyle Busch’s NASCAR Toyota Camry

Tue, 23 Apr 2013

The morning after riding his Yamaha M1 to a sixth-place finish at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, nine-time Grand Prix World Champion Valentino Rossi landed in Charlotte, N.C., to race around another track; only this time there were no right turns. (UPDATED with additional photos.) Rossi met up with NASCAR racer and fellow Monster Energy-sponsored athlete Kyle Busch to ride Busch’s Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Busch, winner of the last three Nationwide Series races, gave Rossi a walkaround of his car before taking the Yamaha factory rider around a few laps of the Charlotte  Motor Speedway 1.5-mile oval.
