Yamaha Other description

This is a Custom 2002 Yamaha Road Star built by Custom Coatings of Fort Lauderdale. This is a gorgeous one owner show bike with only 3600 original miles. The bike is built on the original RS frame . The front end has a slight rack that was done professionally by BMS Choppers on their frame jig , the rear end has a "Tricky" air ride suspension with onboard compressor that gives it the ability to be slammed to a low slung cruiser with a sexy profile or be returned to its near factory ride height for comfort on longer rides. The tank was stretched and the fenders were smoothed with all factory lighting and rivets removed and a custom LED brake/ running light flushed into the rear fender. Paint work includes an incredible candy teal and black tribal paint scheme on the tank and fenders as well as matching frame, swing arm, motor and front fork lowers. The headlight bucket and beach bars are also custom painted black as accent pieces. The flawless paint work is accented by chrome pieces that include triple trees , risers , controls , levers, master cylinder, kickstand axle adjuster blocks as well as PM forward controls. The seat was beautified with a custom Ostrich design. The power is put to the ground through a pair of black powder coated RC component wheels that incorporate a drive side rear brake system on the rear wheel and cleanly convert the front wheel to a much sleeker looking single rotor design on the left side with all the caliper mounting bosses being removed from the right side fork leg . Last but not least power improvements are made through a set of great sounding BUB exhaust as well as the carburetor being professionally jetted for better fuel flow. This bike is a tastefully built head turning custom that retains the ride and reliability of a stock metric cruiser. Also, this bike has been recently serviced including new battery and air ride system being serviced to prepare for sale. This is an opportunity to own a multi show winning custom cruiser without breaking the bank. The bike is located in Fort Lauderdale , for more details or to make arrangements to see the bike please contact Chris at 754-234-5153 .

AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Riders Gearing Up For Road America

Thu, 29 May 2014

The AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike class makes its much-anticipated return to Road America this weekend. The four-mile Wisconsin circuit is a particularly exciting place to watch the middleweight bikes because its long straights and braking zones make passing and lead changes commonplace. More than just a test of man and machine, the races often develop into a strategic battle leading up to the all-important last lap and run up the hill to the checkered flag.
