Yamaha FZ description
I am selling my 2002 Yamaha FZ1 with only 6900 mis. It is in brand new condition with original factory stickers still on it. It is garage kept and not riden much. I just put new tires on it, a touring tank bag, battery, cigarette lighter port for phone/gps, dark windscreen, and rear LED blinkers. Other than that its stock. Its is 100% ready to ride. Never been dropped, wrecked, smoked it, ect lol. I have only ran Mobil one synthethic oil and High Test gas so its been pampered. I have been riding for over 40yrs and this has been my favorite bike, but I just don't ride much anymore. Please call if your in the market for the best sport touring bike ever made. Yamaha Reports 2011 Results
Wed, 15 Feb 2012Yamaha Motor Corp/ reported a net profit of 27 billion yen (US$345 million) in 2011, compared to a profit of 18.3 billion yen (US$243 million) year before. Overall net sales were down 1.4% to 1.28 billion yen (US$16.3 billion), but operating income rose 4.1% to 53.4 billion yen (US$682 million). The increase in operating income came despite the negative impact of last March’s earthquake in Japan and flooding in Thailand.
Yamaha EC-Miu Electric Trike Scooter Concept to Debut in Tokyo
Wed, 16 Nov 2011Yamaha is presenting a new electric scooter concept model at the Tokyo Motor Show in December. The Yamaha EC-Miu concept will debut alongside two other concepts, the XTW250 RYOKU and the Y125 MOEGI. The Yamaha EC-Miu is an electric trike, with two wheels at the rear, a design choice Yamaha says makes for a “stable, easy ride that women will especially enjoy”.
Lorenzo Crashes in Practice Again; This Time He’ll Skip the Race
Fri, 12 Jul 2013Reigning MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo has suffered another high-speed crash during free practice ahead of the German Grand Prix at Sachsenring. Lorenzo had a similar crash during practice in the previous round at Assen, but still lined up on the grid to race, finishing fifth despite breaking his collarbone in three places in the accident. This time, however, the Yamaha rider decided to withdraw from the race.
