Shake off the winter doldrums at Daytona Bike Week, one of America’s biggest motorcycling events, running March 7-16. The 73rd running of the Daytona 200 is a big draw, but it’s just one of the events being held through the week. Tommy Hayden Signs with YES Graves Yamaha for Remainder of 2012 AMA Daytona Sportbike Season

Tommy Hayden has signed on to race the remainder of the 2012 AMA Daytona Sportbike season with  Yamaha Extended Service Graves Yamaha after joining the team as a substitute for the injured Garrett Gerloff. Hayden joined the YES Graves Yamaha team as a last-minute replacement after Gerloff got injured in the first practice of the Daytona 200. While Gerloff continued his recovery from a broken femur suffered in the high side crash at Daytona International Speedway, Hayden has raced his way to fourth overall in the championship standings after five rounds with two podium appearances.

Larry Pegram’s EBR 1190RX AMA Race Livery Looks Sharp!

In January news broke that Larry Pegram would be teaming up with Erik Buell Racing to race the 1190RX in AMA Superbike. At the time no official photos were revealed, but that’s all changed as Pegram posted these pictures of his completed 1190RX in full race livery on his Facebook page. These photos were captured during team testing in Florida, and the colors show off the all-American design motif.
