Yamaha EC-Miu Electric Trike Scooter Concept to Debut in Tokyo

Yamaha is presenting a new electric scooter concept model at the Tokyo Motor Show in December. The Yamaha EC-Miu concept will debut alongside two other concepts, the XTW250 RYOKU and the Y125 MOEGI. The Yamaha EC-Miu is an electric trike, with two wheels at the rear, a design choice Yamaha says makes for a “stable, easy ride that women will especially enjoy”.

Today, Jon Urry will endure 700 miles in a bazzed-up Ford Transit with other UK bike journalists, thanks to the infamous cloud of volcanic ash that's turning our skies a worrying shade of crystal-clear blue. For the origami fans out there, Yamaha have a printable Paper Craft version of their VMax motorcycle (or should that be PMax - P for paper obviously) Download each of the five individual PDF pages and get folding. Might want to stock up on printer ink and A4 paper though as it looks like it will be a frustrating model. As it looks fairly impossible and time consuming I'm putting the challenge out for anyone to go out and complete the paper model themself.
