The fairing pic with the FZ6R logo is reflecting the pavement, the fairing is not damaged.Bike starts, runs, shifts, rides, stops, as it should. Superb condition. I get 50 miles-per-gallon whenever I want to.All stock except for name brand lowering link on rear and Progressive lowering springs in forks. I never measured but my 5'- 3" girlfriend rode it. I'm 6' and ride it regularly.Comes with some frame sliders and a fender eliminator kit. I never installed either, both new in box. I have front and rear stands too.More upright riding position compared to other sport bikes. Very comfortable ride all day.All original including tires in great shape. I have done maintenance myself, changed oil and air filter. Getting close to next oil change. Ran Seafoam in fuel numerous times.Has minor scratches and blems as shown in pics plus a couple more. I fell over in driveway before. Original black paint with fine iridescent / multicolored flake looks fantastic. Even engine covers are dark charcoal gray with the same fine flake. Intermot 2012: 2013 Yamaha FZ8 Announced
Tue, 02 Oct 2012Along with the announcement of the updated 2013 FJR1300A, Yamaha also announced that its naked middleweight roadster, the FZ8, has received a handful of updates for 2013. Key among the modest improvements is revised EFI programming for smoother, snappier throttle response, and front suspension is now full adjustability. The fork has new preload and rebound adjustments atop the fork legs, while a new compression damping adjuster is located at the bottom of the fork.

Fri, 02 Oct 2009TO CELEBRATE the 40th anniversary of man's first steps on the moon, Fiat Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo will wear an astronaut-style paint job on his helmet at this weekend's Portuguese GP. The Spaniard's lid has been sprayed to look a little like a spaceman's helmet and has Neil Armstrong's immortal words: "That's one small step for man; one giant leap for mankind" written on the rear. Let's just hope Lorenzo doesn't launch himself this weekend.
Rossi 'training' at his MotoRanch
Mon, 30 Jan 2012Like Kenny Roberts, Valentino Rossi has got his own ranch where he has built his own private motocross track and dirt oval. The above YouTube video shows Rossi training on the flat-track circuit that makes up his 'MotoRanch' located near his home town of Tavullia. He's shown riding a Yamaha, but that's probably because Ducati don't have themselves a scrambler.
