I get 50 miles-per-gallon whenever I want to.All stock except for name brand lowering link on rear and Progressive lowering springs in forks. I never measured but my 5'- 3" girlfriend rode it. I'm 6' and ride it regularly.Comes with some frame sliders and a fender eliminator kit. I never installed either, both new in box. I have front and rear stands too.More upright riding position compared to other sport bikes. Very comfortable ride all day.All original including tires in great shape. I have done maintenance myself, changed oil and air filter. Getting close to next oil change. Ran Seafoam in fuel numerous times.Has minor scratches and blems as shown in pics plus a couple more. I fell over in driveway before. Original black paint with fine iridescent / multicolored flake looks fantastic. Even engine covers are dark charcoal gray with the same fine flake. Colin Edwards Announces Retirement At End Of Season

The announcement came during the pre-event press conference ahead of this weekend’s Austin MotoGP race — Edwards’ home round. The two-time World Superbike champion cited a lack of progress from winter testing as one reason for the decision.

Tue, 24 Apr 2012Trawling the internet for a sound clip of the Crossplane Crank Yamaha R1 on full chatter, I came across this: a few fast laps on board with New Zealand Superbike racer Tony Rees as he works the CABS Throttle Blipper on his 2011 R1. (Skip to 7:35 for the fast ones.) CABS is a system used by Superbike teams that makes use of the R1’s digitally controlled throttle. When you change up a gear, the bike blips in the perfect amount of revs to save time on track and make downshifts as quick and easy as clutch-less upshifts.
