2009 Yamaha Fz6 R on 2040-motos

Yamaha FZ description
2009 Yamaha Fz6 R, If ever there was the perfect starter bike, this is it. This is a great looking bike that has smooth power from low rpms to rev limit, easy clutch, smooth brakes, and a natural seating position that all add to a great first experience. It was mine, now let it be yours! In an effort to pass along the experience I've left it as stock as possible. There's nothing worse to me than having to fix someone else's poor taste in gaudy accessories or to have to search to find the elusive original parts to make a bike whole again. Instead, I kept it simple. There's a hardwired, fused12v socket for phone/gps charging, and a bar-mount cell holder up top. Tank has protective bra that's perfect for avoiding belt/zipper scuffing. It's still low miles, 6k of the 9k miles spent on 12+hr road trips. Needless to say it's comfortable on both city streets and interstate settings. Fresh synthetic yamalube oil change and wash, chain just tightened. No scratches, never dropped, exactly like I bought it. Garage kept. Title in hand. Get in touch to take a look! Available after 6p most days, weekends normal hours. Texts with name are best, voice mails will be answered as quickly as possible. Reasonable offers entertained. 404.550.8565 James

Rumor: Yamaha Developing Inline Three Roadster
Wed, 25 Jan 2012French motorcycle outlet Moto Revue reports Yamaha is developing a new three-cylinder middleweight. Citing an internal Yamaha document, Moto Revue reports the new naked model will feature an inline Triple engine, aluminum perimeter frame, upside-down fork and a triple-pipe exhaust like the MV Agusta F3 and Brutale 675. Yamaha has produced a Triple before, offering the XS750 from 1976-1979 before replacing it with the XS850 in 1980 and 1981 (pictured above is the 1981 Yamaha XS850.) The potential new model is still likely to be years away, so its look is yet to be determined, though Moto Revue does have a rendering that borrows some of the design elements from the FZ8.
Larry Pegram’s EBR 1190RX AMA Race Livery Looks Sharp!
Wed, 05 Mar 2014In January news broke that Larry Pegram would be teaming up with Erik Buell Racing to race the 1190RX in AMA Superbike. At the time no official photos were revealed, but that’s all changed as Pegram posted these pictures of his completed 1190RX in full race livery on his Facebook page. These photos were captured during team testing in Florida, and the colors show off the all-American design motif.
You want a nice little car, you do.
Wed, 08 Sep 2010We ran a couple of stories last week - both, coincidentally, about new Kawasakis. One was the first peek of the new ZX10R – hot stuff you’d imagine – the other, the new W800 retro parallel twin. I suppose it shouldn’t have shocked us, which story was most popular in terms of hits but it really does mark a seismic shifts in British biking attitudes that the W800 story doubled the hits of the ZX10 piece.
