Yamaha FZ description

Up for sale is my 2009 Yamaha FZ6. Reason for selling is I bought a new bike.
It has 6K miles.
The bike is ready to go and needs absolutely nothing, until next scheduled service. The bike was never raced, abused, wheelied, etc. Mileage is 90% highway. The bike was used for trips and light touring by me and my wife.

1K and 4K service down by the dealership.
Tires are pretty much brand new, with about 1000 miles on them. Premium tires Pirelli Angels Grand Touring 2013 Model, front and back.
The bike had a full tune up, oil change and tire change in April by Delmarva Powersports in Salisbury, MD.

I had a parking lot speed low side on the bike in August 2012 (I was going about 10 mph), and hit gravel making a right hand turn in dark conditions. The bike was fixed under insurance, and every piece of plastic that had any scratch was replaced. There were some scratches on the frame and they were sanded down and painted over. All work was done by the Yamaha dealer. Please see youtube video for a walkaround of the bike.
Tasteful mods:
Yamaha Touring Windscreen
Leo Vince SBK slip on dual exhaust with removable baffles
FZ1 handlebars
OES heavy duty framesliders
Battery Tender hook up
RAM mount on handlebars (for phone, gps, etc)

I have stock exhaust as well that will be included.

Buyer needs to arrange his own shipping, but I will be glad to help out (picking you up at a local airport/bus stop), etc. If it is within reason and my ability, I will help with getting the bike to your place.

Let me know if any questions.
A Paypal deposit of $300 is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. Deposit is refundable if the motorcycle is not as described.
Here is a video of a walk around of the bike that I did back in May (I enjoyed riding the bike too much, so I ended up postponing the sale until now) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-nOEL8czsQ&list=UUpVTNigLx-NfUbLS_8EvhCA&index=1

Spies Second at Sepang Test Day Two; Lorenzo Third

Wed, 01 Feb 2012

Yamaha factory rider Ben Spies led for most to the second day of MotoGP testing at Sepang before settling for the second best lap the time sheets behind defending World Champion Casey Stoner. Spies rode 37 laps and recorded a time of 2:01.052, which stood as the fastest lap in the morning session. That time was surpassed later in the afternoon by Repsol Honda rider Stoner by 0.157 seconds.

Mystic Mac's 2014 MotoGP predictions

Thu, 06 Feb 2014

There is no real off season in Moto GP.  Although we complain about being starved of racing, for those at the sharp end, in little more than two months they have new bikes to assemble, team staff to put in place and sponsors to nail down that will pay for it all.  This time frame is also tight for riders, as it seems more every year go straight under the surgeon’s knife after the last round and spend the short winter recuperating for the season ahead. The 2014 Moto GP championship looks like a cracker as apart from the ten full factory riders we now have at least eight non factory riders with properly competitive machinery.  We also have five Brits on the grid, two with podium potential.  Whatever happens though (providing you have BT Sport) you can just sit back and enjoy watching the incredible Marc Marquez do things that shouldn’t be possible. Speaking of whom, I didn’t believe a Rossi replacement would come this soon.  And when I say replacement, I mean a rider that is the full package.  Although in some ways quite different to Vale, he’s an equally phenomenal talent plus a very likeable character that appeals to the masses and although respectful to his rivals off track, deadly competitive in the heat of battle.  Being young and good looking he’s obviously a dream for sponsors and the sport in general.  Marquez has evolved in his own way but thankfully into a perfect replacement for our sport when the VR steps down.
