2009 Yamaha Fz1 , Beautiful Bike, Only 5531 Miles. One owner, always garaged, well maintained by local shop. Never any mechanical problems. No moving accidents. Bought new in 2010, first week I owned the beast I stopped on a county highway to take it's picture and didn't remember the kickstand until it was a hair too late. That left 2 minor blemishes. Has several other very minor scuffs. Most miles on fair weather Iowa highways. Between 2k and 5K miles I had slightly stickier tires on the bike and hauled it to 2 track day weekends. The bike has way more capability than I do -- I was the slowest one on the track. So current tires are the originals with about 2.5 K on them. Only accessory added are the black tank grippers. Rossi Makes Progress but Hayden Suffers Shoulder Setback
Wed, 01 Feb 2012Ducati continues to develop its Desmosedici GP12 MotoGP race bike, setting modest goals while trying to establish a good setup. Already trailing the other factory teams in development time for its race prototypes, Ducati continued to try to find good base settings for the GP12. Valentino Rossi achieved the team’s goal of lapping under two minutes and two seconds with a time of 2:01.886 while completing 44 laps on the second day of testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit.

2014 Yamaha MT-09 Three-Cylinder Street Bike Announced for Europe – to be Named FZ-09 in US
Tue, 11 Jun 2013A couple of weeks ago, Yamaha Europe released a video called “Dark Side of Japan” teasing a new street bike it claimed would “change the sport motorcycle world.” Today, the company revealed its new model, introducing a new naked sportbike powered by a “Crossplane” three-cylinder engine called the MT-09. (EDIT: and we can now reveal that the North American version will be known as the Yamaha FZ-09.) The 2014 Yamaha MT-09 is powered by a new 847cc three-cylinder engine first teased at Intermot last year. According to Yamaha, the MT-09′s engine produces 113.4 hp at 10,000 rpm and 64.5 ft-lb.
