2007 Yamaha FZ6, This 2007 Yamaha FZ6R is in good shape with 11,493 miles on it. The bike does have some damage on the left bar end and mirror, also the left tail section has been repaired and repainted. The right side has scrapes on the engine cover, bar end, mirror, front fairing, front brake lever, and passenger handle grip. This mostly stock FZ does have a tinted windscreen on it along with a tank pad. 45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013
Tue, 10 Jun 2014Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.
Last Year’s Surprise Podium Finisher Katsuyuki Nakasuga to Wild Card at Japanese GP
Fri, 23 Aug 2013Katsuyuki Nakasuga, the surprise podium finisher at last year’s MotoGP finale in Valencia, will have the chance to catch lightning in a bottle once again, after being granted a wild card entry to the 2013 Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi. Nakasuga shocked the racing world with a second-place finish at the Valencian Grand Prix last November as an injury replacement for then-Yamaha factory rider Ben Spies. Nakasuga made the cagey decision to run slick tires in the wet race.
