Yamaha FZ tech info

Yamaha FZ description
2001 Yamaha FZ1 with about 45k miles. Rear sprocket has been upgraded for HWY use to lower RPMs at high-way speeds. Bike has been down before, and there is repair and repaint on the front fairing. The seat has a separation at the seam. est. less than 1/2 size of separation at the seam about a couple inches long. There is also some scrapes on the Two-Brothers exhaust. Its a bit of a cold-blooded beast, but once warmed up, its a bike you can ride for hours on end without feeling fatigued. It has premium Michelin tires front and rear with a lot of tread still on it. The windshield is painted black for the aggressive look without emblems and decals on the bike. Ride it home today! Clear Title and Registration through 2017 in my name. Must be picked up before June 18, 2016. (The bike can be picked up after June 18, but we will have to schedule a time that fits, and can be as far as after July 4th. In between these dates, I will not be available to the buyer for any questions as I will be out of town.) ********************************** New Ebay buyers with no feedback or with a rating less than 10 must contact me before bidding or sending in offers. Dirt First By MotoVentures
Wed, 05 Feb 2014MotoVentures, the long-running (since 1998) dirt bike riding instruction company is changing its name from simply MotoVentures to the more descriptive Dirt First by MotoVentures. The new moniker more appropriately describes the company’s training activities and philosophy about the best way to learn how to ride a motorcycle begins in the dirt. “Our Dirt First training curriculum is very practical with no ceiling or limitations,” says MotoVentures President, Gary LaPlante. ”Our highly qualified, well-trained instructors are capable of teaching everyone from kids to adults and beginners to experts.
AMA Sportbike: 2012 Daytona 200 Results
Tue, 20 Mar 2012The 2012 Daytona 200 delivered another fairy-tale finish with underdog privateer Joey Pascarella and the Project 1 Atlanta team fending off a pack of three other racers to win by a slim 0.048 second margin. Competing in just his first Daytona 200, 19-year-old Pascarella from Victorville, Calif., held the lead for 41 out of 57 laps to finish first ahead of a last year’s winner Jason DiSalvo while Cameron Beaubier squeezed by 2010 Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas in a photo-finish to take third. For the Project 1 Atlanta team, the win marked a dramatic turnaround from a let down in 2011.
Cardboard Yamaha R1
Tue, 01 May 2012I'm partial to a bit of origami and have been frustratingly screwing up paper trying to master Yamaha's paper craft series for a while now. Jack Chen from Australia has not only made a mockery of my model making failures, but he also made this version which is 40% smaller than a full-size Yamaha YZF-R1, out of cardboard.
