Yamaha FZ description
1989 Yamaha FZR 400. Original paint and exhaust. ....Reserve a bit lower than Buy It Now. Added it to my collection in 2005. Looks and runs well. You Tube video: LARGER pictures can be e-mailed, direct if closer look for blemishes is desired. Bike always stored indoors , and run every couple of months to keep healthy. Have very large bike collection being thinned down to make more space. See pictures. Numerous pictures to show the good and the bad of it. Overall, a pretty well preserved bike. Videos on You Tube. 64 year old owner, former bike wrench and former shop owner. Every effort has been made to show condition of bike with pictures and video. Can e-mail better, larger pictures directly , on request. Bike in good cond, though no warranty expressed or implied. Sold AS - IS . Payment by cashier check, must clear for bike to be released. Chase or Wells Fargo the quickest. Cash , in person, works, too. :o) Reserve lower than Buy It Now price, though Buy It Now goes away when reserve is hit. To would be snipers: I don't blame you, though be careful in that the connection can freeze up in the last minute. Bid early and often, since bike subject to local sale and auction could end early.
Thanks........... Chris |

Glen Richards back with Embassy Racing
Wed, 27 Oct 2010One of the unsung heroes of the BSB paddock over the past few seasons, has to be 2010 Superstock 1000 runner up Glen Richards. A nasty tumble in at the Brands Hatch opener lead to four DNFs, but once back on track he pushed the dominant BMWs hard, finishing on the podium eight times. While many were trading their grannies to fund new S1000RRs, Richards kept the faith and rode the wheels off his Padgett’s Honda Fireblade.
Magneti Marelli to Supply Electronics System to MotoGP Teams
Wed, 26 Sep 2012It’s no secret that promoter Dorna Motorsports has been trying to push a standardized electronics control unit for teams in the MotoGP World Championship. The lack of a top-tier electronics package has been one of the biggest challenges faced by MotoGP’s claiming rule teams, and a spec ECU would narrow the gap between the CRT bikes and the factory prototypes. The manufacturers competing in the series, Honda, Ducati and Yamaha, understandably are resistant to the idea considering the effort they’ve put in to develop their electronics systems.
Scott Russell Returning To Yamaha Champions Riding School Next Week
Wed, 10 Sep 2014This just in from the Yamaha Champions Riding School: the Champ is back! As many of you know, Scott fell off a dirtbike and tumbled around long enough to hurt himself back in July. But he just called and drawled, “I’ll be back for the school as soon as I’m able to ride…let’s fill it up and have some fun!” With the final round of the AMA SuperBike series coming to New Jersey Motorsports Park this weekend, it’s a perfect time for Mr.
