Yamaha FJR description

2013 Yamaha FJR 1300A
No need to explain too much here, there are plenty of reviews and videos of the this bike on-line.
This bike is in excellent condition. The only option available on this bike was ABS and this bike has it. It also has the Yamaha soft insert bags for the hard side luggage.
Tires are both Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT and were both replaced this spring. This is the second set of these for this bike and I got about 20,000km on the last pair.
I have always replaced the engine oil, filter and final drive oil twice per season (about 5,000km). Much more often than required. As well I always use OEM Yamaha filters and the recommended Yamalube oils.  Mileage shown in the picture is in KMs.  Yes the speedometer can be set back to miles.
Bike can be shipped anywhere in Canada or the USA.

In a year that saw Yamaha riders James Stewart, Valentino Rossi, and Ben Spies capture the perfect “trifecta” of World Championships, perhaps one of the most memorable moments for race fans around the world, was “King” Kenny Roberts’ return ride at the infamous Indy Mile in late August. As a year end surprise, Yamaha is pleased to offer race fans around the world a video of this monumental occasion. The video features both archival footage from Kenny’s victory in 1975 as well as the events surrounding this recent monumental motorcycling event.

Air time Kenny Roberts-style

Thu, 25 Nov 2010

I can’t get enough of pictures that capture a specific, hard to define moment; the successful encapsulation of the absolute balls-to-the-wall, life or death commitment that riding a motorbike as fast as possible involves.  We all know. We’ve all been there – even if it’s only a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Maybe (for us mere mortals) it’s that rapidly, yet unexpectedly, tightening left-hand bend with a shitty, mud-covered veneer just at the apex.
