Yamaha dt description

Unrestored truly beautiful 1977 Yamaha DT 2540 Monoshock. Starts very easily, has great compression, shifts perfectly, clutch works correctly tight engine!. While is does look really sharp, cosmetically it is not perfect. the plastic has spots that are fading, the left side cover is missing ( I have ordered reproduction panels that will go with the bike ) Tires are almost new with 95%+ tread. A new set of mirrors is on the way and will go with the bike.

What does it need??

1) New battery

2) clutch and brake levers, the ball ends are broken off

3) new fork seals

4) sometimes the speedometer works fine, sometimes the needle swings all over

5) the Tachometer does not move. I am not sure if it needs a cable or??
