Bike was disassembled and properly race prepped at purchase, I am the original owner. Oil changed every 2hrs or less with new filter every other oil change. Yamalube engine oil only. No Toil Air filter oil. ICW Reinforced radiators. FCR Works suspension for 175 pound rider. New top end and timing chain at 58 hrs. Dunlop MX 32's, front is very low hour, rear still in good condition. New front and rear brake pads. AVS levers, Renthal Bars, grips, chain, and sprockets! Motohose. Seat is ripped due to knee braces. Additional seat with NEW COVER included. No performance mods, all stock. Bike has also had all new wiring harness, stator, and sensors since purchased new. It's sons practice bike, only selling to buy a new one we do it annually. Bike has been properly maintained nothing skipped. Couple thousand in upgrades, but again is stock performance wise! Prefer CASH but will do paypal if you have been on ebay for more than 2years with good ratings and will be non refundable. I will help load for shipper. Giacomo Agostini Celebrates 70th Birthday with a New 2012 Yamaha T-Max
Mon, 18 Jun 2012Racing legend Giacomo Agostini celebrated his 70th birthday at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone this weekend, where he was celebrated by Yamaha. “Ago”, who holds the all-time record for Grand Prix wins (122) and Grand Prix World Championships (15), was feted in a ceremony that also included current Yamaha riders Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies as well as retired racers Loris Capirossi, Phil Read, John Cooper, Angel Nieto, Franco Uncini and Jim Redman, as well as MotoGP promoter Carmelo Ezpeleta and Yamaha Classic Racing Team principal Ferry Brouwer. Yamaha presented Agostini with a one-off T-Max scooter with livery inspired by his 1975 championship-winning YZR500 OW23.

Wed, 15 Feb 2012Yamaha Motor Corp/ reported a net profit of 27 billion yen (US$345 million) in 2011, compared to a profit of 18.3 billion yen (US$243 million) year before. Overall net sales were down 1.4% to 1.28 billion yen (US$16.3 billion), but operating income rose 4.1% to 53.4 billion yen (US$682 million). The increase in operating income came despite the negative impact of last March’s earthquake in Japan and flooding in Thailand.
2014 Yamaha MT-09 Three-Cylinder Street Bike Announced for Europe – to be Named FZ-09 in US
Tue, 11 Jun 2013A couple of weeks ago, Yamaha Europe released a video called “Dark Side of Japan” teasing a new street bike it claimed would “change the sport motorcycle world.” Today, the company revealed its new model, introducing a new naked sportbike powered by a “Crossplane” three-cylinder engine called the MT-09. (EDIT: and we can now reveal that the North American version will be known as the Yamaha FZ-09.) The 2014 Yamaha MT-09 is powered by a new 847cc three-cylinder engine first teased at Intermot last year. According to Yamaha, the MT-09′s engine produces 113.4 hp at 10,000 rpm and 64.5 ft-lb.
