2004 Yamaha Yzfr6s , Yamaha YZF R6. Very fast and reliable super sport bike. It has always been serviced with full synthetic oil and a K&N oil filter. The mileage is under 23K, and I have clean title in hand. Also included: the original Bill of Sale from Cochise Motorsports in Sierra Vista, Arizona, the original owner's manual, and the original riding tips booklet. The bike has extensive cosmetic issues, mainly to the right side. Some close up photos are included. All issues are purely cosmetic and do not affect functionality. Engine runs strong and smooth. I installed new spark plugs and a new K&N air filter at about 18K miles. It has Vortex clip-ons, integrated turn signals, and a Jardine slip-on exhaust system. Everything else is stock. The tires have about 60% tread. It has been just over 1000 miles since I last changed the oil and oil filter. This is a very fast, reliable, well maintained, and ready to enjoy sport bike. See Britain's land speed record hopeful at Race Retro 2010
Tue, 09 Mar 2010SEE THE MACHINE that could propel Britain to a new motorcycle land speed world record at The Race Retro 2010 show, held at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry from 12th to 14th March. Almost a year has passed since Visordown broke the news of the planned UK assault on the land speed record - this coming August the Angelic Bulldog team travels to Bonneville, where it is hoping to smash the 400mph barrier and bring the motorcycle Land Speed Record back to the UK for the first time since 1937. The current record stands at 360.913mph over a kilometre.
Yamaha Confirms Leaning Multi-Wheeler for 2014 – Will the Tesseract Concept Finally Become Reality?
Wed, 03 Jul 2013Yamaha confirmed it plans to introduce a new Leaning Multi-Wheeler (LMW) vehicle for 2014. An accompanying image of a test unit in camouflage reveals two closely-aligned front wheels beneath a broad fairing. The new model will be a three-wheeler similar to Piaggio‘s MP3 scooter instead of the four wheels like the Tesseract concept (pictured further below) first introduced at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.
AMA Supercross: 2012 Arlington Results
Tue, 21 Feb 2012Defending champion Ryan Villopoto won his third consecutive AMA Supercross race in Arlington, Texas, but the victory was overshadowed by a season-ending injury suffered by one of his main challengers Chad Reed. TwoTwo Motorsport Honda‘s Reed trailed Villopoto in second place for the first six laps at Cowboys Stadium. Disaster struck on Lap 7 however as Reed crashed hard in the whoops.
