I am selling this 2002 YZF600R with 23404 miles. Bike runs good and is ready to ride. New Michelin tires. New paint on fairings. There is scratching on the crank case cover and left hand mirror. Also a small dent and scratch on muffler. The paint on this bike is excellent! The bike has never been laid down since I have owned it. It runs straight and starts right up, engine sounds good and does not have any valve chatter. I took this bike on trade to get rid of some jet skis that I had. I have ridden the bike a good bit and so has a friend of mine who has numerous motorcycles and he will attest to the quality of this bike. Clear title in hand. Thu, 10 Nov 2011On Oct. 28th, 2011 Yamaha filed a recall campaign with the NHTSA (campaign ID number: 11V533000) regarding possible fuel leaks on 2009 thru 2012 model-year V Star 950 and V Star 950 Tourer manufactured October 2008 through August 2011. The recall also includes the 2007 V Star 1300 model with manufacture dates August 2006 to March 2007.
