Yamaha YZF description

For Sale: 1995 Yamaha YZF 600 RG. Great condition. Overall this bike is in great shape. The fairings are nearly perfect with very minor scratches in a couple of spots from normal wear over the 21 year lifespan. This bike does not appear to have been laid down. The colors are still vibrant. One small tear in the seat (see photos). New front tire and battery. Rear tire has plenty of tread. Ready to ride. 49,700 miles (about 2,300 miles per year). The 600 cc liquid cooled engine still feels fresh. I believe the original exhaust pipe has been modified (or shortened) to enhance the exhaust note. Sounds great. -Eric.

I can ship this bike in the continental US. Payment in full before the bike is shipped is required.

Team Hammer Releases Martin Cardenas

Fri, 04 Jan 2013

AMA Pro Racing’s Team Hammer has released Martin Cardenas from his contract to allow the reigning AMA Daytona Sportbike Champion “to better pursue his goal of returning to World Championship competition as soon as possible.” Though the eventual goal appears to be for Cardenas to move up to the World Superbike Championship, rumors have Cardenas landing with the Yoshimura Suzuki factory team to race in the AMA Superbike Championship in 2013 as an eventual stepping stone towards international racing. Cardenas won the 2010 and 2012 AMA Daytona Sportbike championships with Team Hammer riding a Suzuki GSX-R600. Team Hammer held a contract option for Cardenas for the 2013 season but decided to release the Colombian racer, allowing him to take a different route towards a WSBK career.

2011 AMA Pro National Guard Superbike Champion Josh Hayes

Tue, 06 Sep 2011

Josh Hayes has won his second consecutive AMA Superbike title, clinching the championship in a tightly contested Race One at the 2011 season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The lead changed hands several times before Hayes emerged with the win, his third of the season. The Monster Energy Graves Yamaha R1 rider was consistent all season, finishing with three wins and 12 podium finishes in 14 races, and finishing fourth in the two times he missed the podium.
