My beloved 2008 Yamaha R6S is for sale. It has been adult ridden.(I'm in my 40s) It has a Yoshimura slip on exhaust pipe giving it a nice deep sound and slightly more horsepower. It has a track type lowering link allowing the suspension to be lowered in the rear to either a 1" or 3 " ride height which is great for shorter riders. It comes with the original factory link if you wish to return the bike to its full ride height aswell which is very easy to do. All maintainence has been done. Oil change with Yamaha filter and chain lube at 800 miles. The bike is really stunning and will provide years or enjoyment to its new owner. Turn key ready to go with no damage history.

Tue, 15 Jun 2010For the origami fans out there, Yamaha have a printable Paper Craft version of their VMax motorcycle (or should that be PMax - P for paper obviously) Download each of the five individual PDF pages and get folding. Might want to stock up on printer ink and A4 paper though as it looks like it will be a frustrating model. As it looks fairly impossible and time consuming I'm putting the challenge out for anyone to go out and complete the paper model themself.
Yamaha Reveals 2013 MotoGP Livery – Video
Fri, 22 Mar 2013Yamaha officially launched its 2013 MotoGP factory team, revealing the new livery for riders Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi and their YZR-M1 prototypes. The new livery returns to a predominantly blue design with white elements compared to last year’s design which was more predominantly white. The livery also features a modern interpretation of Yamaha‘s speed block design.
2014 Yamaha YZ450F and YZ250F Recalled
Wed, 26 Feb 2014Yamaha is recalling 2014 YZ450F and YZ250F off-ride motorcycles because of a risk of the drive chain detaching. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recall affects 1,300 units in the U.S. while Transport Canada says another 115 units are affected north of the border.
