Thanks for looking at my beautiful Yamaha YZFR1 sport bike. This thing is stupid fast standing still! Has never been dropped or crashed. An absolute beast. Not your dads Harley. I purchased this motorcycle with 314 miles on it. I have added a few performance modifications, some of the more notable are the FULL titanium Akropovic EVO exhaust system, Marchesini magnesium alloy wheels, Vortex rearsets with brake light switch, Bazzaz ECU, 530 chain/sprocket conversion, Vortex keyless gas cap, ASV front brake and clutch levers, Renthal aftermarket clip on handlebars and renthal road grips plus more! This motorcycle has been such an awesome piece of machinery. It simply goes too fast, if there is such a thing. Tue, 13 Oct 2009Valentino Rossi has finished on the podium eleven times in his twelve visits to Phillip Island across all three GP classes. The only race at Phillip Island that he did not finish in the top three was on his first visit riding a 125cc machine in 1997 when he finished sixth. In 1998 and 1999 he won the 250cc races and since then has had nine podiums in the premier-class including five victories, the last of which was in 2005.
Yamaha M1 Engines Available for Leasing for 2014-2016 MotoGP Seasons
Mon, 08 Apr 2013Yamaha announced it will offer a leasing arrangement for its YZR-M1 engines to teams interested in racing in the MotoGP World Championship. The Japanese manufacturer has signed a leasing arrangement with MotoGP promoter Dorna Sports to supply engines for the 2014, 2015 and 2016 seasons. Racing teams will be able to lease a Yamaha M1 engine on a per-year basis for their own race bikes.
Yamaha Announces MT-10 And MT-10 SP For 2022
Mon, 22 Nov 2021This news should come as a surprise to nobody, but it’s still equally as exciting to finally get the official confirmation: Yamaha is bringing an updated MT-10 to the US. Maybe more exciting is the announcement that Yamaha is also bringing an MT-10 SP here as well. We reported earlier this month that a new MT-10 was coming, but at the time, the report was only confirmed for Europe.
