Following the Go-show, a wild onboard lap of Phillip Island

Sit back and revel at the imaginative lean angles and racing lines adopted round the Phillip Island by the wild Anthony Gobert. Footage courtesy of the onboard camera attached to the Yamaha of Colin Edwards. The clip is from the final round of 1996 World Superbike championship at Phillip Island from race one, the gifted Gobert would go on to win the second race as well.

Yamaha Reveals 2014 MotoGP Livery

Earlier this month, we reported on the partnership between Yamaha and Movistar that would place the Spanish telecommunications company as title sponsor for the Yamaha MotoGP team for the next five years. The deal came at the eleventh hour, as contract negotiations and minor details needed to be sorted. Now, just days before the start of the 2014 season at the Grand Prix of Qatar, Yamaha has revealed its official 2014 MotoGP livery.

Ben Bostrom Events

Ex-racer Ben Bostrum might have stopped competing on motorcycles, but he hasn't given up his passion for two wheels. He's teamed up with motorsports promoter M1 to create Ben Bostrom Events, a company that plans to host world-class cycling and running races across the US. According to a press release, the high-intensity events will feature an 'entertainment-filled atmosphere', combining many of the familiar elements found at other MOB (mud, obstacles, beer) racing events.
