Selling a used 2008 Yamaha YZF-R1. Title is free and clear. The motorcycle looks and runs like new. No blemishes, no problems, runs and starts perfectly. Very low miles - 4,565. Was used primarily for work transportation (Gretna to Lincoln).
This motorcycle was always garage kept except for the winter months, whereby it was put in my basement. Before and after each ride, the motorcycle was cleaned with professional cleaning rags- you will not find a cleaner, used motorcycle. Details: Dealer installed full GYTR exhaust with carbon fiber heads. In addition, this motorcycle has a tank guard, fender eliminator, and aftermarket mirrors. Maintenance: Oil changed every spring and fall with full synthetic oil. In the spring, filters were changed and the motorcycle was given full inspection including the adjustment of fuel to air intake if necessary. Battery was replaced spring of 2016. 2015 Yamaha YZF-R25 Revealed for Indonesian Market
Tue, 20 May 2014Yamaha revealed the production version of its 250 sportbike, the two-cylinder YZF-R25. Manufactured in Indonesia, the R25 will first be offered in that market before being exported to other markets including other Asian countries as well as developed markets in the west. The production model stays close to the prototype R25 revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show last fall.
2014 Yamaha MT-09 Three-Cylinder Street Bike Announced for Europe – to be Named FZ-09 in US
Tue, 11 Jun 2013A couple of weeks ago, Yamaha Europe released a video called “Dark Side of Japan” teasing a new street bike it claimed would “change the sport motorcycle world.” Today, the company revealed its new model, introducing a new naked sportbike powered by a “Crossplane” three-cylinder engine called the MT-09. (EDIT: and we can now reveal that the North American version will be known as the Yamaha FZ-09.) The 2014 Yamaha MT-09 is powered by a new 847cc three-cylinder engine first teased at Intermot last year. According to Yamaha, the MT-09′s engine produces 113.4 hp at 10,000 rpm and 64.5 ft-lb.
