Yamaha YZF-R description

2005 Blue Yamaha YZF-R6 Low Miles with Extras and Low Reserve!

Giving up my R6 for something a little mellower. Bike has been kept in garage on a battery tender. It has been well taken care of. The bike runs great and looked just as good until I lent it to my brother who dropped it at the end of my driveway :( Reserve price reflects imperfect state. If you can live with the scuffs you'll get a low mileage and great running R6!

Bike comes with the following extras:

Yoshimura TRS triangular muffler

Puig smoke double bubble windscreen

Stompgrip on both sides of tank

Yamaha billet aluminum swingarm sliders/spools

Feel free to contact me with any questions. I'll try to post video on Youtube this week.

Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!

P.S. I reserve the right to cancel bid. Any bidder with zero feedback must contact me beforehand. Thanks for your understanding.

Jorge Lorenzo Gets His Motorcycle License

Thu, 08 Mar 2012

2010 MotoGP Champion Jorge Lorenzo has earned his A2 Spanish motorcycle license. Last month, we learned Lorenzo was practicing for the test on a Yamaha YB250R motorcycle, and now the Yamaha factory racer has completed the practical portion of the test. Here he is pictured with his riding teacher Xavi Vallejo (and wouldn’t it be cool to tell people you taught a MotoGP World Champion how to ride a motorcycle?).

GSX-R600 and CBR250R the glass is half full

Wed, 13 Oct 2010

Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong.  As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.
