2003 Yamaha R1 with 21xxx miles and a clear title in hand.
Mileage will slowly increase I have never dropped my bike. It has been tastefully stretched and lowered, and also contains other various aftermarket goods (featured in the photos). The bike starts cold and warm with zero issues, and is both fully functional and mechanically sound. It also sounds great! It can use minor touches to be prepared for the next full season such as new seats or simply be reupholstered, a new set of tires, and the paint has began to crack on the rear fairings (NO DAMAGE TO THE PLASTIC). Aside from that, it is in clean overall condition and receives lots of compliments as-is. The bike is ready to ride, I drive it everyday. I am asking $4,500 or best reasonable offer. Mon, 13 Jan 2014After a day of rest, Sunday’s stage seven was characterized by rain during the night and a new Dakar country – Bolivia. After an early start at 4:30 in the morning, the first 62 miles of the special stage into Bolivia had to be shortened due to rain and poor visibility, low-hanging clouds that prevented the helicopters from taking off creating security issues. The route led across the Andes and towards the Bolivian border.
Yamaha Acquires Stake in KYB’s Motorcycle Suspension Business
Tue, 05 Feb 2013KYB is separating its motorcycle suspension business from its other operations, and forming a new company with Yamaha. The two companies will form a joint venture to be known as KYB Motorcycle Suspension Co., Ltd., offering motorcycle suspension components to OEMs including Yamaha. Yamaha will acquire a 33.4% stake in KYB Motorcycle Suspension Co.
