2003 Yamaha R1 with 21xxx miles and a clear title in hand.
Mileage will slowly increase I have never dropped my bike. It has been tastefully stretched and lowered, and also contains other various aftermarket goods (featured in the photos). The bike starts cold and warm with zero issues, and is both fully functional and mechanically sound. It also sounds great! It can use minor touches to be prepared for the next full season such as new seats or simply be reupholstered, a new set of tires, and the paint has began to crack on the rear fairings (NO DAMAGE TO THE PLASTIC). Aside from that, it is in clean overall condition and receives lots of compliments as-is. The bike is ready to ride, I drive it everyday. I am asking $4,500 or best reasonable offer. 2013 LA Calendar Motorcycle Show Report
Mon, 22 Jul 2013The 22nd edition of the annual LA Calendar Motorcycle Show marked its return to the Queen Mary Seawalk Village in Long Beach, California with hometown boy Sam Baldi taking the Bike Building Championship’s Best of Show trophy with a Jimmy Todorovith/Profile Cycles built Big Twin custom named “Lost Angel.” This year’s Calendar Show showcased not only top builders but selected vendors and exhibitors, and of course the Calendar Girl Music live performances. And as always, this year’s show celebrated the world premiere of the 2014 FastDates.com Motorcycle PinUp Calendars, featuring the world’s top SBK World Superbikes, sport and cafe bikes, and custom motorcycles with the beautiful Calendar Kittens. On hand throughout the day to meet with fans and pose for pictures were Calendar Kittens Apple Price, together with official SBK World Superbike grid girls Jessica Harbour and singer/songwriter Sarah Horvath.
Retirement is rife but thankfully not for Vale
Thu, 15 Nov 2012The racing season may be over but the winter nights will surely fly by as we watch reviews, debate events of 2012 racing and relish the excitement that lays ahead in 2013. Unfortunately retirement seems to be popular right now so with major names leaving BSB, WSB and Moto GP things will never quite be the same. I’m still in shock that Casey Stoner has decided to head back home for a spot of fishing.
