Honda CB900f Supersport (1981)
I acquired this bike last summer from the original owner who purchased the bike new in Japan while he was stationed there in the navy. Before I got the bike it had been sitting in a garage for 10 years and had not run. It had a full tank of gas and a tank liner that had failed.2022-05-09 13:13:47Ipswich, Massachusetts, United States9,9506900

1982 Honda CB (1982)
This is your chance to own a completely restored 1982 CB900F. This bike has been part of my private collection since its restoration in 2012. The final assembly was completed by Motodrive in Littleton, Massachusetts. The bike was completely dissasembled, repainted, and restored using as many period correct Honda OEM and NOS parts as possible. I have been selling a few of the bikes that don't get the use that they should and I'd like to see them sold to someone who will really enjoy them. Its in excellent like new condition and has always been stored in a heated controlled environment. I have to say thanks to all the guys at CB1100F.net that helped me with this project. Larry C - RIP - All body paint work was completed in Wakefield, MA, by John at Wakefield Collision in 2015. - Engine completely tuned and valves set by Adam from Phoenix Cycles in Massachusetts. - New Decals from CB Decals. - Rare Japanese lidded tail/trunk with correct Japanese brake lens and blue Honda decal.2016-11-21 04:36:47West Boylston, Massachusetts, United States155,400.00

1973 Honda CB (1973)
Available now with a fresh tune up is this beautiful 1972 Honda CB450, built in the traditional Cafe Racer style. Starting with a 1500 mile 1972 Honda CB450 twin, this bike was rebuilt from the ground up. No bolt was left untouched and every mechanical portion of the bike was refreshed. Mechanically this is a mostly stock Honda so parts and repairs are easy. The motor was refreshed and machined to a .025 overbore and NOS valves were added at the time of the build. Partial list of all the goodies added during the build, all top quality aftermarket, custom made and brand new NOS parts used.2016-11-09 04:34:21Georgetown, Massachusetts, United States210000

What we have here for your consideration is a very nice original paint red 1976 CB750K. The bike sat in a garage for almost 20 years, the good is that it did have a quilt over the tank and seat area. 1973 Honda CB (1973)
Where do I begin... This is a 1973 Honda that was initially forgotten in a garage and neglected for 30 years. In 2011 I endeavored with Adam from Phoenix Cycles in Massachusetts, to to bring this machine back to its OEM condition. I spared no expense and sourced as many OEM parts as possible. I have every OEM or NOS Honda part bag used and they will be included in the sale. I did leave as many original parts in place, unrestored to preserve the integrity and patina of the bike. The bike has been ridden sparingly as it is one a few in my collection. I am selling it because it doesn't get the attention it deserves and I'm hoping someone can enjoy it the way it should. It is in excellent condition and has always been stored in a heated controlled environment. - The engine was completely torn down, cylinders bored .25, upgraded Cycle-X cam chain tensioner, valves redone, carburetors polished, rebuilt and synced...everything was rebuilt and it runs amazing. Parts were sourced from Honda or Cycle X-Change.2016-08-17 04:43:40West Boylston, Massachusetts, United States109,500.00

1977 Honda CB (1977)
For Sale is a 1977 Honda CB400F in about 99% original condition with 3,366 miles. It will be hard to find one as original as this. The only aftermarket items now installed are crash bars, air cushion handle grips and a throttle lock, that's it. I purchased this bike in July 1979 with 1,119 miles. This bike has been in storage for more than 34 years with a squirt of Marvel Mystery Oil in each cylinder and the carbs and gas tank drained. Storage started with it wrapped in plastic and stored in my barn. I have kept it always thinking I would ride again or in my older years or stick it on the back of a motor home for local transportation. Now I'm older, none of that happened, so its time for it to go. Everything is original except for the battery, one turn signal and the tail light lens to get an inspection sticker (original lens is available with a broken clear plate lens). The tires are original, still hold full pressure from year to year and are in great shape. Engine oil has been changed but it still is black from the remnants of ARCO Graphite oil that I used back then. (I still have 10 quarts of the stuff if the buyer wants it.) Unfortunately with so many years of unmonitored storage, some of the plastic wrap deteriorated unnoticed and as a result of typical New England cold to warm humid air changes, there is some pitting of the chrome. Most of it cleaned-up but there is some blister pitting especially on the rear fender, tail light bracket, chain guard and the aftermarket crash bars (see photos). Some of the silver engine paint has also failed. There is a series of scratches in a small area on the front fender (photo) that were there when I got it. Also, in the fall of 1981, as a result of hitting an oil slick during a turn at an intersection, there is some road rash on the headlight rim, tachometer base, brake fluid reservoir and the underside of one exhaust pipe (see photos)(not to mention a separated shoulder). Also, one turn signal had to be replaced. I never registered it again until 2014. Since uncovering it and cleaning it up two years ago (3,283 miles), I have ridden it each year only for required inspection and around the block to make sure all is still OK. It runs great, looks great, sounds great and still goes like hell for its size.2016-06-20 04:42:39Kingston, Massachusetts, United States39687

1976 Honda CB750K SOHC in outstanding condition (1976)
Up for your consideration is a very nice original example of the motorcycle that changed the world. When Honda first introduced the CB750 the rest of the motorcycle industry was blown away. In fact the CB750 was voted the motorcycle of the century!! It is in mostly original condition. Items that have been changed are: · Paint is new · Clutch Cable is new · Throttle cables are new · Brakes are new · Fork seals are new · Gauge faces are new · Shocks are new · Points are new · Plugs are new · Seat is NOS The condition of the bike is excellent. All lights work. Motor runs flawlessly. The transmission is without issue. Tires are good. About the only thing this bike needs is the elec, starter hooked back up. It was blowing a fuse is I disconnected it. Carbs are freshly cleaned and have been vacuum synced to perfection. The points and valves are freshly adjusted to ensure many miles of trouble free riding.2013-09-25 22:27:16Fitchburg, Massachusetts, US16,0005,000.00

2024 Yamaha MT-09 SP Review – First Ride
Wed, 28 Aug 2024Better suspension and Track mode brings us so close to an R9 Photos by Dave Schelske As the tail rider in a train of approximately seven identical Yamahas, I couldn’t help but watch in awe as each of us weaved our way through the notorious Tail of the Dragon, bending the bike underneath us to our will through the 120-something corners, the unison of the dance mesmerizing as each of us took our turn, one by one, around each apex, at irresponsible speeds, front wheels inches away from the person in front of us. This is the kind of trust you build up after you’ve ridden with the same group of people for years on end. We all know that riding with your friends is fun.

2024 Yamaha Ténéré 700 First Ride
Wed, 13 Dec 2023Small updates keep the T7 fresh, but we're still missing out on the European variants Photos by Yamaha/Joseph Agustin Photo Yamaha’s popular Ténéré 700 “T7” adventure bike returns for 2024, and while it would be easy to say it is “largely unchanged” from the 2023 model, there have been some notable changes made in response to feedback from many North American riders. One wish still unrealized: the U.S. dealers won’t be getting the up-spec World Raid and numerous other versions of the T7 the EU enjoys - at least not this year.

2024 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+ Review
Thu, 17 Aug 2023Riding 950 miles across three states in two days highlights this Tracer’s capabilities Photography by Joseph Augustin New motorcycle model introductions follow a well-worn path: travel to the event location, eat nice meals, get briefed on the bike of the moment, ride a route designed to highlight the bike’s strengths, take photos/video, eat more good food, return home, and write up a review. After 27 years in this industry, I still get a cheap thrill about throwing a leg over a new motorcycle before it is available to the general public. However, what really gets me going is when I have a chance to log more than just the couple of hundred miles typically covered in an intro and spend some real time on the road with said bike.
2023 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+ Review – First Ride
Thu, 18 May 2023Yamaha’s sports tourer middleweight receives an influx of technology for 2023 Astute readers are probably wondering why Motorcycle.com is publishing a First Ride of a bike that’s not coming to the States this model year. Our reasoning is that, thanks to the sleuthing of Dennis Chung, we suspect the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+ will be coming to the U.S. in 2024.
Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+ Finally Coming to US for 2024
Thu, 06 Apr 2023Sport-tourer equipped with radar-based adaptive cruise control Last November, Yamaha Motor Europe revealed a new Tracer 9 GT+ at EICMA, a new version of its Triple-powered sport tourer equipped with a 7-inch TFT display, adaptive cruise control, and a radar-linked unified braking system. Yamaha Motor USA, however, remained quiet about it, and we later learned the Tracer 9 GT+ was not coming to the States for 2023. In fact, even the less techy regular Tracer 9 was left out of Yamaha Motor USA’s returning model announcements.
Yamaha MT-10 SP Project Bike - Update 1
Thu, 26 Jan 2023Everythings installed and initial impressions. It’s been about a month since we introduced Motorcycle.com’s 2022 Yamaha MT-10 SP semi-long-term project bike. In case you forgot the premise of this whole thing, Yamaha offered us the opportunity to hang on to an MT-10 SP for an extended period of time, and since I have a soft spot for the bike, I decided to give it some tasteful upgrades to address some key weaknesses while also unleashing some trapped potential.
Introducing Motorcycle.com's 2022 Yamaha MT-10 SP Semi Long Term Bike
Tue, 20 Dec 2022Tasteful mods and curvy miles are in store. Credit: Photos by Joseph Agustin (Lead Photo) Long-term test bikes aren’t something we normally do here at Motorcycle.com, but when Yamaha’s PR guy Gerrad Capley said I could take the MT-10 SP home after the press intro, it was an offer that was hard to resist. When I asked him how long I could have it, he basically shrugged his shoulders and winked.
