Yamaha YZ tech info

Yamaha YZ description
For auction is my 2014 Yamaha YZ250. This bike is in perfect condition with
very low hours (under 15). Extremely clean and runs perfect. I've added a bunch
of small goodies to the bike starting with a Vforce reed cage, Pro
Circuit 304 Factory sound silencer, GYTR billet Clutch cover, Works
Connection Radiator Braces, Works Connection Pro Clutch Perch, SDG
Gripper seat and 270mm Oversized front rotor kit. The bike wasn't
raced, just ridden at the practice tracks by a Vet rider. Everything on
the bike straight as an arrow and in great shape. Radiators, sub-frame etc are all
perfect, never been crashed minus small tip-overs. Original chain and
sprockets that still have a lot of life left, so that's how little it's
been ridden. I have all of the stock parts as well. No reserve
Local pickup only, I will not ship the bike. I will help deliver up to 100 miles from Northfield, MN. |

You Know the Economy is Hurting Manufacturers When…
Tue, 17 Nov 2009Yamaha Motor Co. announced Monday that it is cutting the ringers from its company rugby team. The Yamaha Jubilo rugby club competes in the Top League, the highest level Japanese Rugby Football Union pro league. The team currently sits fifth out of 14 teams with a 3-2-2 record with a roster of 17 professional players including nine non-Japanese imports.
You. Call. That. Lean
Fri, 14 May 2010Jean Philippe Ruggia, 1988, Coppice at Donington Park, Sonauto-Yamaha 250. This is elbow lean action. There was a previous blog entry of Ben Spies and his elbow grazing the tarmac onboard the M1 Yamaha, I admit it is impressive but I find myself admiring the horizontal angles that Ruggia submitted his 250 Yamaha to, with the above image taken at Coppice as a prime example.
OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes
Sat, 01 Nov 2008KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
