Yamaha YZ tech info
Yamaha YZ description
I'm selling a 2014 Yamaha YZ250F. The bike is very clean and has been well maintained, has never been raced, only used for trails and some open practice days. When I bought the bike I was told there was about 30 hours on it and I've only put on about 4-5 hours but there's no hour meter on the bike to verify this. The motor has never been into other than for doing the updated shift stopper. I powdercoated the right side cover along with the water pump and oil filter housing satin black, I think it looks better than the factory finish and should hold up longer. I will include an extra twin air filter. If you would like to call/text me for a faster response my number is 810two78six117 It has a few mods: Primary drive gold o-ring chain Primary drive front sprocket Vortex rear sprocket (stock gearing, less than an hour on chain and sprockets) Pro Taper handlebars Tusk billet bearing supported throttle tube Pro Moto Billet spark arrested end cap D-Cor Graphics and seat cover 2015+ shift stopper update No toil air filter

1973 Yamaha TZ750 Works Prototype #409-100001 Up For Auction
Fri, 27 Dec 2013For just $120,000, you too can be the owner of a special piece of motorcycling history. Up for grabs on eBay is the 1973 Yamaha TZ750 that started it all. Claimed by the current owner to be the test mule of none other than Kel Carruthers in 1973, this TZ carries the number #409-100001. Yamaha Works GP rider Sadeo Asami cared for the motorcycle for much of its racing life until it was returned to Yamaha USA where it was destined for the crusher.
Wood-Rotax SJ676 Grand Prix
Wed, 22 Jan 2014Until yesterday I'd never even heard of this bike let alone seen one. I didn't know anything about it. I still don't, really but I dug up these words on the bike and thought I'd share them.
The problem with electric bikes...
Mon, 11 Jun 2012This weekend sees the running of the most famous car race of them all, the Le Mans 24hrs, and to be a driver of one of the front-running cars has got to be fairly high on the list of jobs that will make ladies swoon. Speed, danger, noise, fame, physical fitness and lots and lots of money, the key elements of any top-line race series, tend to ensure that its star competitors manage to appear cool. But the latest press picture from Yamaha – publicising the firm's link with (Yamaha shareholder) Toyota's Le Mans effort – manages to strip away every last shred of of swagger from the team's drivers by plonking them on Yamaha EC-03 electric scooters.
