2013 Yamaha YZ 85 Purchased Brand New on July 18th as a replacement bike for my 13yr old to ride in the local 85 classes. The bike sat the month of August due to injury (not related to motocross) and was ridden for the last time Sunday as he is done riding 85's. The bike is completely stock and never opened except a ARC folding clutch lever, Renthal Bars, Twin Air filter, Graphics and a new MX51 rear tire as the factory one was junk.
My son rode KX 85's, RM 85's and this was our first YZ 85. He has liked this bike way more than the others and has been saying the last few months that this is the best 85 he's ever ridden! Tue, 20 Jul 2010RANDY de Puniet may well have just been ejected from his LCR Honda RC212V MotoGP racer during qualifying for Sunday's Sachsenring GP but that ain't gonna stop him from bringing one of the company perks with him to Dr Costa's on-circuit surgery. The Frenchman crashed during qualifying after hitting oil and water spilled on track by Jorge Lorenzo's Fiat Yamaha, after it spewed its guts along almost the entire length of the start finished straight. Following the crash De Puniet was whisked away on a stretcher with a suspected broken foot.

Now Yamaha has introduced the next motorcycle in the Darkness collection, the MT-07, effectively the MT/FZ-09′s little brother. Designed to “bring fun, affordability and enjoyment back to the street,” the MT-07 is powered by a brand new, 689cc parallel-Twin with 270-degree crank incorporating Yamaha’s “crossplane philosophy” of developing linear torque for smoother power application.
