Yamaha YZ description

Well I really hate to do this but I might consider selling my baby! I'm not in a hurry to sell and/or might just keep it, but I'm debating selling it for the right price to pay my car off. So heres a little bit about the bike.. its a 2010 Yamaha yz250f. I purchased this bike last summer when i was living it California. The previous owner purchased the bike from a dealer and never rode it so they ended up selling it to me. The bike was raced by a semi pro female rider of the name Dellene Dippel. It has full KWB suspension set up for a 170lb rider. The front suspension is pretty stiff im guessing for the bigger jumps. Holeshot device on the forks also. The rear suspension i have set up for myself at 170lbs. The motor is not a stock 250f motor. IT HAS A POSEY RACING MOTOR IN IT. The previous owner told me that it had over $5k in engine work done to it. I do not have proof of this on paper and im no mechanic... But i know the bike rides a lot more like a 450 and i had a new wiseco piston and crankshaft installed about 20hours ago and the guy that did the rebuild told me the inside was really nice and it great condition. It runs on 110 octane fuel. has full fmf powerbomb exhaust and header. sprocket and chain brand new. EMIG grips. White plastics with brand new decal works graphics i paid $240 just for those. Gripper Seat cover. Pro Taper Fat Bars. Acerbis blue chain guide. Sunline Clutch Lever. MX52 tires front and back brand new. still have the lines on them. Yellow radiator hoses. Radiator braces. Top end fully rebuild, gaskets all around. Stator is brand new. ECI Box is brand new with wiring harness. Black Excel Rims. I dont know what else to say about this bike except its a monster and in awesome condition. I baby this thing and its my pride and joy so ive taken excellent condition of it. I attached a photo of the bike when i bought it. The image with the #62 was when it was raced and all the sponsors on the stickers where real sponsors for this bike. I just put my own graphics on it. If you search posey racing motors they have a picture of it on their website. Feel free to contact me with any questions. im pretty firm on price. Ive put alot of money in this bike myself as well as the previous owner. Bike Rips! Thanks alot Joe! $3800. will end auction early if bike sells local.

Best Helmet Designs from the 2009 MotoGP Season

Thu, 22 Oct 2009

Unlike with most athletes, motorcycle racers’ faces remain hidden during competition. Except for promotional events or pre- and post-race interviews, the faces of our racing heroes are shielded under protective helmets with tinted visors. You don’t see the same human emotion in their faces like you can when soccer players score a goal or baseball players hit a home run.

Yamaha Teases New Supersport Reveal for Nov. 3 + Video

Wed, 01 Oct 2014

Yamaha fans expecting to hear big news from the Tuning Fork brand at Intermot may be a bit disappointed the Cologne show only brought us a refreshed XJR1300, the MT-07 Moto Cage stunt variant and a futuristic three-wheeled concept model. The first two aren’t likely to come to North America and the third might never see production. But fear not, as while most of the motorcycle world was focused on Intermot, Yamaha released a video teasing a “new era” supersport announcement for Nov.
