2008 Yamaha YZ85 in excellent mechanical condition. Fenders have minor scratches. Bike was purchased new in 2010. Bike has approx. 25 hours run time. Never raced. Bike is original except for o-ring chain and sprockets and brush guards. Engine is all original. Need to sell to pay for recent flood damage to home. Bike has a clear Louisiana title. I can work with buyer on shipping.

Stoner to Miss Brno for Surgery – Title Defence Likely Over
Thu, 23 Aug 2012Casey Stoner has withdrawn from the Brno, Czech Republic MotoGP round to undergo surgery on his injured ankle. Trailing Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo by 39 points and Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa by 21 points with seven rounds to go, Stoner’s hopes of repeating as MotoGP champion before retiring at the end of the season are all but dashed. The Repsol Honda rider injured his ankle in a high side crash in last weekend’s Indianapolis Grand Prix.

Mon, 11 Nov 2013Valentino Rossi has parted ways with longtime crew chief Jeremey Burgess, ending a partnership that extended across 14 years and three different manufacturers while capturing seven MotoGP and 500cc Grand Prix World Championships. Burgess will be replaced by Louis CK lookalike Silvano Galbusera, a veteran crew chief and mechanic whose most extensive experience comes from World Superbike and Supersport racing. As crew chief and/or technical director, Galbusera has worked with an impressive roster of riders including Troy Corser, Noriyuki Haga, Cal Crutchlow and Ben Spies.
