Yamaha YZ description

I bought this bike in 07 from a guy in his 50's. I am the second owner. I never had the title put in my name but will give a bill of sale with all info to prove legal ownership. this bike was raced from 07 - 2010, my son raced in hill climb events only. he lost interest in the sport in 2010. so the bike has been in storage with only a few minute ride every once in a while. the fall of 2010 after the racing season I had the engine sent off, had the bottom end blueprinted & the top was ported & polished & bored 30 over & renikelsealed. the bike has not been raced since due to the fact my son lost interest. the bike has Talon wheels & hubs with a spare rear wheel. It has the v-force3 reeds an twin air airfilters. it has pro circuit platum pipe with a 304 shorty silencer & a special made silencer I had made from pro circuit for hill climbing. I have rear sprockets from 47 - 53 and front sprockets from 13,14,15, so you can gear the bike any way you want it. the bike has maybe 2 hours on it since 2010. I have renthal bars along with asv levers. it has every after market goody you can buy. need to sell because laid off from work & really the bike is of no use for me anymore. so any ??? just call or text me 304-928-6803 and buyer is responsible for pickup or delivery I can take the bike to shipped but I will ask for 100$ extra for the travel.

Ienatsch, Hill, Russell, Bestwick To Give Speech At Yale Today

Thu, 30 Jan 2014

In what might be considered the most shocking news of 2014 so far, Nick Ienatsch and Ken Hill are going to Yale. While some might think the Chief and Lead instructors at the newly revamped Yamaha Champions Riding School are getting in over their heads, the two are at Yale as lead presenters for “Excellence In Motion: What Motorcycle Racing Can Teach Us About Success,” which begins at 4pm (local time) today.  When put into context, their appearance at one of the nation’s top schools is understandable. Each has had their fair share of success aboard motorcycles, and they will be joined by two more champions on two-wheels, five-time Daytona 200 winner and 1993 World Superbike Champion Scott Russell, and Jamie Bestwick, an avid motorcyclist and winner of eight consecutive X-Games BMX Vert gold medals.

Yamaha Files Suit Over Scooter Design

Thu, 05 Apr 2012

Yamaha has filed a lawsuit against a pair of Japanese companies alleging their electric scooter copies the design of the Yamaha Gear BX50 scooter. The Yamaha Gear  BX50 (pictured left above) is a 50cc four-stroke scooter sold in Japan as a commercial-use model, aimed for small business such as newspaper distributors. Yamaha has been offering the BX50 (and the BX50N variant) since 2007, selling 39,917 units as of December 2011.
