Hi craigslist i am selling my 2001 Yamaha yz 125 for $1500 negotiable . I have had the bike for over 5 yrs and rebuilt it three times including last week. The bike has almost and hour on the new motor which replaced the crankshaft/assembly, all seals, head bolts, piston/rings. This year i recently had the cylinder sent out to get re plated so the bike has lots of life left.Also never raced just kept these plastics on because the monster graphics and color.Selling because i want to buy a four stroke in the future, great bike for someone still into the 2 strokes.no rust,no leaks, all fluids just done Septemeber 15th, wheelies in gears 1-6 BIKE RUNS AMAZING SEE FOR YOURSELF! plenty extra parts/plasticscall/text Joe if interested. Yamaha Teams Going Retro For Anaheim 2

In preparation for Anaheim 2, round 3 of the AMA Supercross championship, a few Yamaha teams are embracing the past for team colors. The CycleTrader.com Rock River Yamaha team is going back to Yamaha’s corporate roots with a White and Red themed look that could be found on YZs in the latter half of the 1980s and into the 90s. This color scheme also graced the prototype YZ400F Doug Henry rode into the history books with his win at the 1997 Las Vegas Supercross.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Arlington Results

Defending champion Ryan Villopoto won his third consecutive AMA Supercross race in Arlington, Texas, but the victory was overshadowed by a season-ending injury suffered by one of his main challengers Chad Reed. TwoTwo Motorsport Honda‘s Reed trailed Villopoto in second place for the first six laps at Cowboys Stadium. Disaster struck on Lap 7 however as Reed crashed hard in the whoops.
