Yamaha YZ description

Very low hour 1987 YZ490.  Ride it or keep as a collector.  The condition of the bike is outstanding and original.  Nothing has been repainted or restored.  Please study the pictures. The exception is the gas tank which, as is common, did not age well.  NOS tanks are available and I have one for the bike and will sell it separately if interested. I do not have a title with the bike, but I had to mark something for the listing so I marked "clear" but there is no title with the bike. Buyer to arrange and pay for shipping.  Thanks for looking.

The Diavel rocks!

Thu, 21 Jul 2011

A Different Bike Magazine

Thu, 12 Feb 2009

Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.
