Up for auction is a 1982 yz 125 in great condition. Runs and rides great, fresh rebuild with next bore size piston, seat has been stitched in one spot as shown in pic as well as a rub mark by the right side number plate also pictured. Front rim has some weird pitting as pictured. Tires are good, chain and sprockets are decent, all brakes work. Bike is ready for some vintage racing or someone's collection. Dakar Rally 2012 Results – Despres Wins Fourth Dakar
Mon, 16 Jan 2012Cyril Despres beat his teammate Marc Coma to win his fourth Dakar Rally, while KTM captured its 11th consecutive win in the 33rd running of the off-road race. Despres won three stages and finished the 5,214-mile race in South America in a total time of 43 hours, 28 minutes and 11 seconds. Despres crossed the finish in Lima, Peru, with a lead of 53 minutes and 20 seconds ahead of his fellow Red Bull KTM rider Coma.
Yamaha Donates Star Bolt To True American Heroes Auction Hosted By Kenny Roberts
Tue, 06 May 2014In support of the Yamaha True American Heroes Weekend–the fundraising event taking place this weekend at Kenny Roberts’ legendary ranch in Modesto, California–Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., has donated a 2014 Star Bolt to the Benefit Auction that is a featured event during the weekend. The announcement was made by Bob Starr, General Manager of Communications for Yamaha’s Motorsports Group. Our own Kevin Duke made it out to the event in 2012, where he had the chance to ride with some of the sport’s biggest legends.
