Beautifully restored 1981 Yamaha Yz60. The Yz60 was made from 1981-83, it was only made in this style in 1981. Completely dissasembled and redone. Frame was sandblasted and painted, everything else sandblasted and powder coated. Matching motor and frame numbers of 4V0-002790, New front tire and tube, new rear tire and tube. New clutch discs. New front sprocket and chain. Rear sprocket was not available, current one in great condition, and was cleaned and powder coated. New seat cover, new OEM style wicked tough graphics. New scott handgrips. Carburator was cleaned with new needle valve installed, new fuel petcock, new gas lines. New fork seals and fork oil. New clutch and brake levers. Runs and drives excellent and looks like new. Plastic all completely sanded down, cleaned and reheated for shine, in great original condition. Every nut and bolt was cleaned and coated, it looks like new. The Yz60 had a very short 3 year run, and are getting very difficult to find, let alone in this condition.. $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction end, full payment due within 48 hours of auction end, anything other then that must be talked about ahead of time. Yamaha R25 250cc Sportbike Prototype Revealed – Video
Wed, 20 Nov 2013After much anticipation, Yamaha has revealed its new R25 250cc sportbike at the 43rd annual Tokyo Motor Show in Japan. The manufacturer has long offered a 125cc model in India, and that’s where word surfaced of an impending 250cc model. We will have to wait a bit longer however, as the R25 at the Tokyo Motor Show is still just a prototype, meaning we should expect to see the production model for 2015.
2022 Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid Announced for Europe
Tue, 15 Feb 2022No word yet on US availability Yamaha Motor Europe announced the production version of the 2022 Ténéré 700 World Raid, a new Ténéré variant with a larger fuel tank and longer travel suspension. It joins Yamaha’s European lineup alongside the regular Ténéré 700, plus a Rally Edition version which we don’t get in the U.S. We first saw the World Raid at EICMA as a prototype equipped with a number of Genuine Yamaha Technology Racing (GYTR) performance parts.
2014 Yamaha MT-09 Three-Cylinder Street Bike Announced for Europe – to be Named FZ-09 in US
Tue, 11 Jun 2013A couple of weeks ago, Yamaha Europe released a video called “Dark Side of Japan” teasing a new street bike it claimed would “change the sport motorcycle world.” Today, the company revealed its new model, introducing a new naked sportbike powered by a “Crossplane” three-cylinder engine called the MT-09. (EDIT: and we can now reveal that the North American version will be known as the Yamaha FZ-09.) The 2014 Yamaha MT-09 is powered by a new 847cc three-cylinder engine first teased at Intermot last year. According to Yamaha, the MT-09′s engine produces 113.4 hp at 10,000 rpm and 64.5 ft-lb.
