Up for auction is a 1976 Yamaha yz 250 in excellent condition. Runs and rides great, shifts great. Has been in storage since about 2000 and looks to be a low hour bike. Has aftermarket fenders with the front one being a Preston petty and the rear a KW, both are in decent condition. The tank has one dent(pictured) and a few paint chips that are roughly filled in(pictured). The seat is in mint condition. No rust on bike. I do have the original title to the bike. Joining them are 2012 AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike race winner, Cameron Beaubier, and 2012 AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport race winner, Garrett Gerloff, on their Yamaha Extended Service/Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha Daytona SportBike YZF-R6s. The four riders and their machines recently completed a photo session at Yamaha’s U.S.

Here's a video of the Australian's rotary air compression-engined Yamaha WR250R being taken out for a spin. Apparently it can hit 87 mph and cover more than 60 miles on a scuba-tankful's worth.

Being the spec tire manufacturer for the AMA Pro Roadracing series gives Dunlop plenty of top-level R&D test riders to develop the next line of tires. Couple that with the company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Buffalo, New York, and the days of grabbing a set of UK tires over their American counterparts is over.
