Yamaha XT description

Hey Guys, I am Selling my XT550.

I am offering Free Shipping in the US except Alaska with BIN. Payment must clear before shipping...

This bike is a one owner 1983 XT 550 Classic Enduro Motorcycle in Great Condition. It has been sitting in a garage for over 10 Years. It was running when I brought it home and winterized it. It runs great but is about 90% tuned IMHO.

This sweet trail bike started out its life on a farm in Tennessee. Jason Capps was a hardworking farmer who lived in Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee.

He was only 14 years old and worked all summer to be able to pay off his new Trail Bike.

I have the original Title from where this bike was purchased by Jason Capps New on August 1st, 1985.

As you can see this baby is REALLY nice and has been sitting in his garage for over a decade.

There is a picture of the gas tank where there is no rust at all.

Here is your chance to own one of the nicest XT 550's left out there.

Thanks for looking and I hope the RIGHT person gets it.

There is a required deposit of $250.00 via PayPal.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Thanks...Tre'

Simon and Leo

Thu, 11 Aug 2011

If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.

Wood-Rotax SJ676 Grand Prix

Until yesterday I'd never even heard of this bike let alone seen one. I didn't know anything about it. I still don't, really but I dug up these words on the bike and thought I'd share them.
