Yamaha XT description

2008 Yamaha Xt250 , I am selling this bike because I own another one and rarely ride this. It's a fun hybrid bike, that's both street legal and off-road friendly! I am the second owner, and the first owner rode is 600 miles before selling. The bike is in excellent working condition and runs great. It handles very well on roads, including highway speeds. I can get it up to 83mph on the highway. I have ridden it gently, as I had planned to keep it for many years. It was dropped a couple of times by the previous owner, but has only minor cosmetic damage (verified through dealership). I have ridden it the remaining 1200 miles and no damages have be incurred. I used it to run errands and commute to work. It has rarely been ridden off road. All original parts are included, such as tires, battery, etc. and are in excellent working condition. I just had it serviced and it won't need service again for 4,000 miles or 6 months (whichever is sooner). It was serviced locally, at the dealership. It's a 5-speed, 2.6gal gas tank, electric start. Ask MO Anything: Should I Buy a New 2022 Yamaha MT-10?

Thu, 06 Oct 2022

Is this a trick question? Dear MOby, Thank God I’m in the enviable position of having a wife that gave me the OK to get whatever bike I want, after selling off all my old ones about seven years ago. So, here’s my parameters: After test riding a ton of stuff, I’ve decided I want a (bigger) naked bike, and in first place is the 2022 Yamaha MT-10.

How to solve the mystery of the wildcard replacement

Wed, 30 Jun 2010

With the two test riders coming forward to act as replacement riders for the injured Rossi and Aoyama, it brought back memories of the days when the grid would be gifted with wildcard riders from the respective countries. The Japanese rounds were always attended by some of the top guys with experience of the 500GP and MotoGP bikes, through racing them in their domestic championships. What resulted was getting to witness the exciting and talented Japanese riders, and bring new riders to the attention of the teams.

Kenny Roberts Joins Inaugural American International Motorcycle Expo

Fri, 06 Sep 2013

We’ve posted several articles over the past few months about the inaugural American International Motorcycle Expo (AIME) because the motorcycling public is invited to attend what looks like an industry/trade show. And we’re not the only ones excited to check it out. Kenny Roberts, perhaps the best-known American motorcycle racer of all time, has signed on to the AIME show as “American International Motorcycle Champion.” In this role, Roberts will serve as the proverbial face of AIMExpo, joining in the celebration of the inaugural show with the entire powersports marketplace – industry, trade, media and consumers.
