Yamaha XT description

2008 Yamaha Xt250 , I am selling this bike because I own another one and rarely ride this. It's a fun hybrid bike, that's both street legal and off-road friendly! I am the second owner, and the first owner rode is 600 miles before selling. The bike is in excellent working condition and runs great. It handles very well on roads, including highway speeds. I can get it up to 83mph on the highway. I have ridden it gently, as I had planned to keep it for many years. It was dropped a couple of times by the previous owner, but has only minor cosmetic damage (verified through dealership). I have ridden it the remaining 1200 miles and no damages have be incurred. I used it to run errands and commute to work. It has rarely been ridden off road. All original parts are included, such as tires, battery, etc. and are in excellent working condition. I just had it serviced and it won't need service again for 4,000 miles or 6 months (whichever is sooner). It was serviced locally, at the dealership. It's a 5-speed, 2.6gal gas tank, electric start. D'you cover your front brake with a finger?

Bumped into a riding instructor last weekend. Not literally, though, I'm pleased to add.  The road had been closed by a big accident and we'd all been forced into the same coffee/petrol stop together. He had one pupil with him on a 125 Yamaha custom thing.

Kenny Roberts Rides 1980 Yamaha YZR500 Around Laguna Seca [Video]

Fri, 16 Sep 2011

Kenny Roberts is a true icon of motorcycle roadracing, being the first American to win a 500cc world title, then collecting two more before he moved on to team management. “Without Kenny, we might not be here,” said Colin Edwards, former World Superbike champion and current MotoGP rider, in the below video. “He was the godfather that brought us all over to Europe and showed us more or less that it was possible.
