2013 Yamaha Xt250 , New Bike without the New Price. This 2013 Yamaha XT250 has only 118 miles. It has seen light trail use (about 25 miles) some road/highway use (about 70 miles) and was used a learning bike in a parking lot (about 25 miles). This comfortably fits a wide range of rider sizes and ability. My 25 year old nephew (6'0" tall 270lbs) learned to ride on this bike before buying a Harley as did my wife (5' 5" tall 140lbs). The bike performed well on road and trail. Really solid all around bike. We are selling this dual sport motorcycle only because we have 6 motorcycles in the garage and want to trade some for water toys. New Photos and Video of Yamaha PES1 Electric Concept
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Yamaha has released additional images and a video of its new PES1 electric motorcycle for the concept’s debut at the Tokyo Motor Show. The new photographs, shot at Yamaha’s display at the Tokyo show, show more details about the PES1 concept, which Yamaha first announced earlier this month. The PES1 shares the same electric DC brushless motor, lithium-ion battery and monocoque frame as the PED1 concept which also took its bow in Tokyo.
Motorcycle Thefts Down 11.2% in 2010
Wed, 21 Sep 2011Motorcycle thefts in the U.S. are down for the fourth consecutive year in 2010, according to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. There were 49,791 reported motorcycle thefts in 2010, an 11.2% drop from the 56,093 thefts reported in 2009.
