YOU ARE BIDDING ON ONE YAMAHA XT500 IT IS IN GOOD SHAPE COMES WITH THE TITLE, RUNS GOOD HAS BEEN SITTING IS STORAGE FOR THE WINTER JUST TOOK IT AROUND FEELS LIKE IT NEEDS A TUNE UP, THERE ARE SCRATCHES DINGS THE GAS TANK HAS A DENT IN THE SIDE AND SPRAY PAINTED SPOT ON THE TOP OF IT, THE TACH AND SPEEDO MOUNT IS BENT BUT I HAVE A STRAIGHT ONE THAT WILL COME WITH IT, THE SPEEDO WAS NOT WORKING WHEN I LAST TOOK IT OUT, THE TIRES ARE WEATHER CHECKED THE SEAT HAS A SMALL RIP IN THE REAR OF IT, THE EXHAUST HEAT GUARDS ARE DINGED UP, GOOD BIKE TO JUST RIDE OR RESTORE BEST OFFER TAKES IT! Yamaha “Dark Side of Japan” Teases New Model Launching June 11 – Video

Yamaha has released a video teasing a new model it claims “is about to change the sport motorcycle world.” The video, called “The Dark Side Of Japan“, reveals little detail about the new model but promises all will be unveiled June 11. The video includes images from Japan’s vibrant nightlife and lively sub-culture,with youths in costume and exotic hair and makeup dancing in clubs. The new model will reflect this side of Japan, with Yamaha calling it a “new kind of brutal animal”.

THE YAMAHA YZF-R1 ridden by nine-time motorcycle world champion Valentino Rossi at the 2009 TT has gone up for sale on eBay for £25,000.The 998cc 182bhp machine was ridden by Rossi when he lapped the Isle of Man TT course during a parade lap for Yamaha and Dainese in 2009. Authenticated by Yamaha Motors UK, this unique 181-mile machine has been signed by the multiple world champ and is being sold by Oldham-based Highbarn Motorcycles. Any takers?

2011 World Superbike Champion Carlos Checa

Carlos Checa has won the 2011 World Superbike Championship and secured Ducati its 17th manufacturer title. The Althea Ducati rider secured the title with a win in Race One of the Oct. 2 Magny-Cours round in France, and then captured the manufacturer title with another win in Race Two.
