Awesome running riding chopper. I built this bike over the past few years. Custom 2" extended 2" drop hard tail with molded super narrow sporty tank. The whole frame is molded and panel painted with ppg single stage white and a custom mix of house of color candy gold and gold flake. One off sissy bar, bars, exhaust, seat. Gold flake and white tuck n roll upholstery. One off electronics and battery box upholstered with white pleats. 23" front spool wheel with new tire. 18" drum brake rear wheel. Tc brothers forward controls. New rebuilt 1975 xs650 engine. Runs great. Starts up first or second kick. Lots of time and money put into this bike I just have a bunch of other projects I need to finish. Clean title in hand and I also have the original engine. serious buyers only. Lovely new R1 cans from Harris
Thu, 30 Sep 2010Harris Performance has just unveiled their new slip-on silencers and carbon composite heat shield for the 2009/10 Yamaha R1. Made to the usual Harris standards the cans are created from stainless steel and titanium. The silencers have fully removable baffles helping your R1 to breathe more easily and produce a fruity exhaust note.
Yamaha Reports Q1 2013 Results
Tue, 14 May 2013Yamaha Motor reported a 3.7% increase in net sales for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013. Net sales from motorcycles increased by 4.6% despite an 8.1% decrease in unit sales. Overall, the company reported a profit of 7.5 billion yen (US$73.3 million) over the quarter, down from the 27.0 billion yen reported last year.
2014 AMA Supercross – Indianapolis Results
Mon, 03 Mar 2014Ryan Dungey captured his first win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season in a wild main event that saw two of the top title contenders crashing on the starting straight at Indianapolis‘ Lucas Oil Stadium. Smartop MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi took the holeshot for the second race in a row, but the big news was incoming points leader Ryan Villopoto and Ken Roczen going down before the first turn. Roczen trailed Villopoto by nine points going into the Indianapolis round, but the KTM rookie’s hopes of overtaking the reigning champion took a blow when he went down on the straight, knocking Villopoto off in the process.
