Yamaha XS description
Here is a great running XT500 that is completely stock. This bike fires right up, Engine sounds very good. accelerates smoothly. Fuel tank looks good inside and out. Clear instruments. Still has turn signals in place. Its a very nice bike that has been taken care of. Clean wheels and spokes, all original equipment still in place. Easy to see this bike has not been abused. Will need a rear tire. There is a repair on the left shoulder of the seat. The right side cover is held on with zip ties, should be replaced and the front fender is cracked towards the rear. Some scratches on the bike but nothing you wouldn't expect from a 35 year old bike. With just a few simple items fixed and a detail, this bike would be a beautiful Vintage XT500 Clear paperwork. Need more pictures, just let me know. Final Payment by Cash in person or money orders. NO Cashiers checks. Day 11 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins, Extends Overall Lead
Thu, 16 Jan 2014Day 11 marked the longest stage to date of the Dakar Rally, as the competitors tackled the 605km (376 miles) special stage, covering a variety of terrain, hard ground, mountains, plus 120km (75 miles) of sand and dunes in the Copiapo area. Despite this, and a fall at the beginning of the stage, Marc Coma again demonstrated his status as boss of the Dakar 2014, by picking up his third victory of the year, further reinforcing his position at the top of the general standings. Five-time Dakar winner Cyril Depres opened the piste for 400km before dropping slightly to finish just 02:31 behind Marc Coma in first.
