Yamaha XS description

1980 XS 650. Actual mileage unknown, forks are good, rear swing-arm joint not loose, mufflers are pretty quiet, good compression in both cylinders. Not beat.
Runs well. Elec and Kick start.
New Brakes and SS front line.
New Battery, charger included..
New(er) trials tires (just for looks, doh! rear diameter is a little too small, was going to switch to Bridgestone TW40).
Custom suede seat.
Dirtbike bars
Needs front lever brake-light switch, brake-light works on rear only presently.
There are no turn signals and I don't have any.
Will include vintage Rickman style fiberglass body with seat, pictured. Made by Fibermold in Tulsa OK

Yamaha teased us with the “Rise Up Your Darkness” campaign, first introducing the FZ-09 (called the MT-09 in Europe) and its three-cylinder engine packaged in a naked frame. Now Yamaha has introduced the next motorcycle in the Darkness collection, the MT-07, effectively the MT/FZ-09′s little brother. Designed to “bring fun, affordability and enjoyment back to the street,” the MT-07 is powered by a brand new, 689cc parallel-Twin with 270-degree crank incorporating Yamaha’s “crossplane philosophy” of developing linear torque for smoother power application.

Lorenzo Wants to Race at Assen Despite Breaking Collarbone in Three Places

Jorge Lorenzo underwent two hours of surgery earlier this morning in Barcelona, Spain, to insert eight screws and a titanium plate to secure his fractured collarbone. By the afternoon, the Yamaha rider was back in the Netherlands to prove he is healthy enough to race in tomorrow’s TT Assen. The reigning MotoGP champion broke his collarbone in three places after high-siding in a wet practice session Thursday.
