Up for Sale is a 1980 Yamaha XS650 Special 2 motorcycle. Clear title. 12,287 Miles. Frame # 3G0-005000. Motor # 3G0-005000. It Does not run, turns over with great compression. Was parked in 1991. Looks to be Complete. Front brake will need to be bleed. Rear works as it should. Gas tank has no dents. Inside is clean. Overall the chrome shows pitting. Seat is torn up, pan is solid. Fenders show no dents. Good project motorcycle .You receive what is pictured. Please see my other vintage motorcycles and parts. Ben Spies announced his retirement from motorcycle racing, as injuries cut short a once promising career for the American. Spies retires with a World Superbike title in his first and only season in the series, and three AMA Superbike Championships. “I want to thank everyone from racing organizations, factories, teams and all my fans for helping me and supporting me throughout my career,” says Spies.
