Up for sale(NO RESERVE) is a super clean Yamaha XS650. Was built for my GF. Female owned,previous owner was female also. Bike has been taken care of,entirely gone through. Only has 6,900 miles. Everything on this cafe racer works.Bike was prof. built,entire life garage kept, many custom parts fabricated and major parts are new. GF only put 500 miles on bike after custom build. Shes scared of it so were selling. We have over $6,000 invested. Black paint is original and looks great. Elec start and kicker starts first kick. Custom exhaust looks and sounds Awesome! Bike is an Antique,everything thats not good about XS vintage parts have been adressed.

Yamaha Confirms Leaning Multi-Wheeler for 2014 – Will the Tesseract Concept Finally Become Reality?
Wed, 03 Jul 2013Yamaha confirmed it plans to introduce a new Leaning Multi-Wheeler (LMW) vehicle for 2014. An accompanying image of a test unit in camouflage reveals two closely-aligned front wheels beneath a broad fairing. The new model will be a three-wheeler similar to Piaggio‘s MP3 scooter instead of the four wheels like the Tesseract concept (pictured further below) first introduced at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.
Yamaha Applies for R3 Trademark in US

Yamaha Files Suit Over Scooter Design
Thu, 05 Apr 2012Yamaha has filed a lawsuit against a pair of Japanese companies alleging their electric scooter copies the design of the Yamaha Gear BX50 scooter. The Yamaha Gear BX50 (pictured left above) is a 50cc four-stroke scooter sold in Japan as a commercial-use model, aimed for small business such as newspaper distributors. Yamaha has been offering the BX50 (and the BX50N variant) since 2007, selling 39,917 units as of December 2011.
