Yamaha XS description

After 3 old Venture rebuilded, I've worked on this nice bike. Completely rebuild and verified. Engine: all bearings are new, new oil pump, new timing chain. The old carbs were unsalvable, so she's equiped with a nice Mikuni BST36 ramp, recent and renewed, with BMG air filters. Electricity: renewed wires circuit (ignition and charging), replaced regulator, new sparks and gaps, new battery. Chassis: all bearings and dust seals are new, new tires, new pistons caliper, new seals, new master-cylinders seals, new brake pads, new BREMBO stainless steel/PTFE lines, DOT5 silicone break fluid. The inner tubes of the front fork are genuine Yamaha new parts, but fit the 1J7 model. That the reason of her lower line. New painting. Ready for long rides ! The bike is sell with a total one year warranty. Located in France, near the German border: be careful of the shipping cost !

So that's why he's called RANDY de Puniet

Tue, 20 Jul 2010

RANDY de Puniet may well have just been ejected from his LCR Honda RC212V MotoGP racer during qualifying for Sunday's Sachsenring GP but that ain't gonna stop him from bringing one of the company perks with him to Dr Costa's on-circuit surgery. The Frenchman crashed during qualifying after hitting oil and water spilled on track by Jorge Lorenzo's Fiat Yamaha, after it spewed its guts along almost the entire length of the start finished straight. Following the crash De Puniet was whisked away on a stretcher with a suspected broken foot.

MythBusters‘ Jamie Hynerman and Adam Savage are going to find out on the Emmy-nominated show’s fall season premiere, Sept.

Yamaha Trademarks Design for Three-Cylinder Sport-Tourer

Mon, 11 Aug 2014

Yamaha has registered a trademark for the design of a sport-touring model based on the FZ-09. Filed with European Union’s Office for Harminization in the Internal Market, the trademarked design reveals a brand new model sharing the same frame and engine as the FZ-09 (known in Europe as the MT-09.) Discuss this at our Yamaha FZ-09 Forum. The new model will likely be compete against motorcycles such as the Suzuki V-Strom 1000 and a rumored S1000RR-based model from BMW.
