Yamaha XS description

HELLO! FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS MY 1979 YAMAHA XS750 FACTORY TRIPLE CAFE RACER!!

THE BIKE DOES NOT RUN. IT HAS BEEN IN STORAGE SINCE 1995. WITH NO FUEL IN TANK.

THE BIKE CAME WITH A" COPY" OF THE ORIGINAL TITLE.    ONLY A" COPY" OF THE FRONT, SHOWING 5 MILES.

I BOUGHT THE BIKE FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNERS FAMILY. ESTATE SALE.

***   NO TITLE, JUST A COPY OF THE FRONT OF THE ORIGINAL THEY COULD NOT FIND THE ORIGINAL, ONLY A COPY OF IT.

I WILL FURNISH A NOTARIZED BILL OF SALE.  NOTARIZED BILL OF SALE ONLY!!! HAVE THE BIKE VERIFIED AND FURNISH MY BILL OF SALE  AND GET YOUR OWN DOCUMENTS.

IF YOUR A VINTAGE BIKE ENTHUSIAST, YOU KNOW WHAT YOU NEED.

OK, SO, I HAVE MY NON RUNNING FACTORY FLAKE METALLIC BLACK 1979 YAMAHA XS750 TRIPLE, WITH UPGRADED CDI IGNITION! NO POINTS.

THE BIKE HAS ITS BLEMISHES ON THE TANK ETC, BUT PRESENTS WELL.

INSIDE OF GAS TANK IS NICE AND CLEAN!!

TANK HAS SOME DINGS AND SCRATCHES.    THE LEFT SIDE IS REAL NICE, THE RIGHT SIDE HAS DINGS.

THE VERY REAR OF THE TANK HAS A DENT. I AM POINTING TO IT.

THE BIKE NEEDS A BATTERY.

CDI PLATE IS PRESENT. I THINK IT NEEDS A TIMING ADVANCE PART. I AM NOT 100% SURE. THE BOOK SHOWS A TIMING ADVANCE PART. I DONT HAVE THAT. OLD OWNERS ARE LOOKING, IF THERE IS ONE, ILL GET IT.

THE BIKE HAS NICE FRAME PAINT, IT IS CLEAN FOLKS.

GOTTA LOVE THE" FACTORY GOLD" ACCENTS!!

THE BIKE WAS STORED IN A LOWER LEVEL OF A HOME SINCE THE EARLY 90'S. HEATED.

THE BIKE HAD THE FRONT PEGS MOVED 6" TO THE REAR AND THE SHIFTER IS A PROFESSIONAL CUSTOM, MOVED 6" TO THE REAR. SHIFTS SMOOTHLY. THIS IS CAFE RACER MADNESS! BETTER FOOT POSITION IS ACHIEVED.

THE ORIGINAL OWNER WAS INTO THE CAFE SCENE.

HE INSTALLED THE DRAG BARS AND HAD THE PEGS AND SHIFTER MOVED BACK. ALSO REMOVED THE COMPLETE KICK LEVER, IT WAS IN THE WAY!

SO, HERE YOU HAVE A FACTORY SURVIVOR 1979 YAMAHA XS750 STANDARD, IN MATALLIC FLAKE BLACK.

PLEASE SEARCH THE GLOBE FOR ONE AND THEN BID TO WIN THIS ONE!

THIS ONE HAS SAT IDLE SINCE THE 90'S, SO IT NEEDS CARB CLEANING, BRAKE WORK, TIRES ETC.

THIS IS THE PERFECT CANDIDATE FOR THE ENTHUSIAST.

ENGINE TURNS OVER. SHIFTS THRU GEARS FINE.

GREAT THROTTLE "SNAP" THROTTLE WORKS FINE.

Yamaha Teases New Supersport Reveal for Nov. 3 + Video

Wed, 01 Oct 2014

Yamaha fans expecting to hear big news from the Tuning Fork brand at Intermot may be a bit disappointed the Cologne show only brought us a refreshed XJR1300, the MT-07 Moto Cage stunt variant and a futuristic three-wheeled concept model. The first two aren’t likely to come to North America and the third might never see production. But fear not, as while most of the motorcycle world was focused on Intermot, Yamaha released a video teasing a “new era” supersport announcement for Nov.

Yamaha Confirms Leaning Multi-Wheeler for 2014 – Will the Tesseract Concept Finally Become Reality?

Wed, 03 Jul 2013

Yamaha confirmed it plans to introduce a new Leaning Multi-Wheeler (LMW) vehicle for 2014. An accompanying image of a test unit in camouflage reveals two closely-aligned front wheels beneath a broad fairing. The new model will be a three-wheeler similar to Piaggio‘s MP3 scooter instead of the four wheels like the Tesseract concept (pictured further below) first introduced at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.

Japan Needs Your Help

Thu, 17 Mar 2011

By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees  and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.
