Yamaha XS description

I have a Yamaha XS-650 bike for sale. There is a title for the bike. In the pictures, the one with the blue tank is the one with the title and it was running when I bought it. I tore it completely apart and completely disassembled the entire motor and I sent the entire motor off for polishing. It is all new polished and still in the un opened box back from mirror finish polishing service. You can go to their web site and look at the engine parts. Cases, covers, cylinders, heads, everything on the motor is polished and looks like chrome! I paid 3000.00 dollars for the polishing of this entire motor. It is ready for re-assembly but I do not have any new gaskets. I was going to send the entire engine and parts to Gary Hoos at Hoos Racing to hot rod the engine, re phase the crank, upgrade the ignition, big bore the engine and custom intake it. All for 4000. I'm working on other projects now and I don't have a lot of time for the bike so that is why I am selling it. The bike is completely disassembled right now. All parts are here and if you put it back together, it is the same as the pictures of the bike assembled. The bike is a hard tail conversion. The frame is on my chassis jig and it is straight with no problems. I have extra parts left over from the other bike in the pictures. You will have to come pick the bike up.

Yamaha Champions Riding School Sold Out June 9 & 10

Tue, 03 Jun 2014

It took more than a year for the Yamaha Champions Riding School to sell out at its former location of Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah. Since its return at New Jersey Motorsports Park, the school has sold out in less than a half of season. There are any number of reasons this could be the case.

Snow riding and my new LC

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

I reckon the only thing to do when the snow comes is to get on a bike and my weapon of choice is usually a Yamaha TTR 125. I’ve had TTRs in the garage now for around eight years after Raceways Yamaha in Fleetwood put some on offer for just £900 and apart from a few broken spokes and worn out gearbox sprockets they have been indestructible. One of the two has an electric start and incredibly starts as easily as the day I took delivery.

2022 Yamaha XSR900 Review - First Ride

Wed, 25 May 2022

The sportiest Sport Heritage Credit: Photos by Adam Campbell | Videos by Sean Matic Some of us were a bit surprised when Yamaha’s newly overhauled 2021 MT-09 snagged first place in last summer’s 900cc(ish) Naked Bike Comparison, against such more-expensive heavy hitters as the new Ducati Monster and KTM Duke 890. And all of us were a little surprised when the XSR900 defeated Indian FTRs 1200 and 1200S, and the now-defunct Monster 1200S, in an only slightly unfair 2019 comparo. (Slightly unfair because our test route was really nothing but tight, twisty roads.) Now, the 2022 XSR900 is newly overhauled just as last year’s MT-09 was, using all the same parts from the waist down, including the new super-sized 890 cc version of that most excellent CP3 three-cylinder and all its electronic controls.
