I call this a budget model because I kept the original alloy wheels, the front is a rear secs 18" converted to be able to run a fat 120/90/18 tire, the rear is stock with a 130/90/16.  Specs  tires, new kenda 130/90/16 and 120/90/18           Brakes new front and rear pads/shoes, new master, braided line, rebuilt caliper            Electrical, new xs650 switch controls, starter, 12cell antigravity lithium battery, new starter and modified bendix clip, New headlight, led tail light with integrated turn signals, bar end turn signals, horn, everything need to be legal           Carbs, New Sudco Mikuni VM34 carbs, I don't mess with wasting my time on the original carbs, these are a HUGE performance improvement.

    2007 Yamaha xv250 Virago/Vstar semi custom Up for bid is a very nice Yamaha Virago.  I have put many aftermarket parts on it.  She has a front pouch, tinted windshield, aftermarket mini turn signals, 10" mini ape hanger handlebars, aftermarket mirrors, I have had the gas tank repainted so it has a solid black cherry finish.  I have taken off the stock air filter pods and replaced with a hi flow cone style air filter. I replaced the stock pipes with West Eagle drag pipes so now it sounds like a real motorcycle.  Has that Harley rumble instead of the stock lawn mower sound.  I put black header wrap on the pipes so you won't immediately scald your leg if you touch the pipes.  Saddle bags with support brackets and lowered the passenger seat for a lower look.  The tires have lots of tread and I put a larger rear sprocket on for more top end speed.  It is a great starter or commuter bike that looks, runs and sounds great and gets 65-70 mpg.  My wife has no trouble keeping up with me on rides and it will do 75mph with me riding it and I'm 230lbs. Buyer can arrange for pickup or I have a local transportation company I can get quotes for you.

    First things first:  ATTENTION:  NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS OR FOLKS WITH 0 FEEDBACK; STOP WASTING REAL BIDDERS' AND MY TIME.  FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND, READ, RINSE, REPEAT.  Ok, for the rest of you: Low reserve 1995 Yamaha Virago 250, in great running shape, low miles.  Purchased in 2008 with 10,180 miles (actual mileage per the title), so I haven't put a lot of miles on it since purchasing.  The good: recently painted professionally in the past 2 years (was maroon, now black), replaced gears in the past year for better highway cruising and gas mileage, new chain has less than 200 miles on it, tires are in good shape, brakes work fine, no leaks in fork seals, starts right up, replaced aftermarket crappy turn signal lamps with replacement factory lamps that other motorists can actually see, mirrors also upgraded to versions that actually help the rider see what is behind them, battery recently replaced, recent oil change.  The bad: when moving the bike, my friend tried to lift the rear end by the luggage rack; no damage to the rear fender in doing so, but ripped out the nuts securing the rear of the rack from the fender.  Over the past few months, the area where the back of the rack is supposed to mount at the fender has accumulated some surface rust at the mount holes, but nothing significant.  No damage to the mounting holes otherwise; rear fender is straight and in solid shape.  As stated earlier, the brakes work just fine, but could probably use a brake job in the next 6 months or so, just an FYI.  Garage kept, but as it was used to begin with, and it was my daily commuter locally, there is the expected light surface rust on a couple of spots; nothing significant.  Never dropped since I have owned it, and I did not see any signs indicating as such when I purchased it.  Most of the chrome is in great shape overall.  It is an excellent starter bike, and has many miles left in it.  I hate to get rid of it, because it is excellent in town for errands and such; new gearing gets 70+ MPG.  However, it is time to sell.  Low reserve, great bike for a beginner rider (like I was when I bought it).  The previous owner drilled out the baffle in the exhaust pipe, so has a nice rumbling sound for a 250.  Please ask any questions prior to bidding; I have tried to provide as much info as I can think of, but you may have additional questions regarding stuff I didn't cover.  If you're local, you can easily ride it home.  As I purchased it in Miami, and had to ride it back to Tampa, I advise against a long ride on the interstate, as from my experience, you will have a hard time sitting down for a few days afterwards.  If you want it shipped, that's on your end; I would rather you picked it up, but I will be happy to work with you on shipping it; buyer is responsible for making that happen.  Good luck finding reasonable, reliable transportation for less that the reserve price.     Parts bike.  Bike is not running.  My mechanic said it will take $800to get her on the road..  Needs carbs rebuilt missing gas cap, the fuel line that connects the 2 gas tanks and some other parts.  The bike has a brand new rear tire and the front tire is good.

    Yamaha Virago 1993.  Runs Great!!  It is really in GREAT condition!  Hand grips have skull design.  It is a shaft drive.  Carburators were rebuilt. Has new mirrors and replaced front fender.  Tires are in less than fair condition, so it will need new tires soon.  Two small tears on the seat.  Both tires and seat tears are shown in the pictures. A few small scratches on gas tank too.We bought this motorcycle in 2013 and it has set inside our shop all these years.  We rode it very little when we first got it, but that's all.  Not sure about history before we bought it.  You will have to check VIN for history.

     This is my 1985 Yamaha Virago xv1000, its been garage kept, its very clean. I was told it has low compression in one cylinder and the carburetor leaks, I'm not a mechanic so I'm not exactly sure what all that means, I had a gas shot off put on it to keep the carburetor from dripping and otherwise have had no problems. It has some minor cosmetic damage on the exhaust pipes, and some of the chrome is "peeling", and a crack in the seat.

Featuring the world’s largest-displacement air-cooled Inline-Four engine in production, the XJR1300 lives on in 2015 with a new custom-inspired look and a cafe racer variant. The 2015 XJR1300 was inspired by a custom from builder Keino called “Rhapsody in Blue” as part of Yamaha’s Yard Built program.

Yamaha Focusing on Developing Model Platforms

Following the success of its MT platform, Yamaha says it will continue to develop new models based on shared platforms, allowing for a choice of multiple models while reducing overall costs. Speaking in a presentation on the company’s business operation, Yamaha Motor President Hiroyuki Yanagi reiterated the strategy of developing multiple models sharing the same engine and frame. Honda has followed a similar strategy with its NC models, seeing the platform evolve to include the CTX700 and NM4.
